It felt impossible to sleep last night. I couldn't get comfortable and I kept thinking about him. I had only met him a day or so ago, but he flooded my brain. I wanted to get up and see him right now, but I know I can't.
By the time I fell asleep, my father had already come into my room to wake me up. "Good morning Ophelia! How did you sleep?" He asked. He seems to be in a good mood today. "I slept fine. I'll get ready then come out, okay?" I replied, he nodded his head and left the room, closing my door behind him. I didn't want to get out of bed today, if it wasn't my birthday I'd still be passed out. My birthday. That's today.

People kept coming into the house, it was everyone I invited, but, I didn't expect them to actually show up, no one showed up last year. Why this year? I brush it off and welcome everyone. They all say happy birthday to me and hand me a present. I hate this. I want this day to end already. Birthdays are always the worst. There's nothing fun about them. There's no reason for people to have parties, they suck. A whole day dedicated to me was the worst thing anyone could ever come up with.
"Ophelia!" I hear Ponk yell from the living room. He's sitting with Sam, Foolish and Callahan. "Hey! I haven't seen you guys in forever, how are you all?" I ask, pretending to be interested in the conversation, I hate this. I hate talking to people. I want to go back to bed.

The day seemed to drag on forever. I hated it. It was finally over and I could go see Wilbur. Everyone who was staying the night was passed out so I was free to go. I stumbled out the door, trying not to make too much noise and wake everyone up. I got there faster than the last time, but this is my third time walking here. I got into the boat, not knowing I was being followed by someone, someone I'm very close to. I run as fast as I can to get to Wilbur's house and frantically knock on his door. He opens it almost immediately. "Ophelia? Is everything ok?" "Yea, everything's ok. I just wanted to see you." I replied, he invites me in.
We had been hanging out for a few hours and I started to fall asleep. I'm woken up banging on the door. Wilbur gets up to open it, it's my father. "Dad..?" "Come on Ophelia. You're coming home with me. You don't need to be with this L'manburg scum. He'll only hurt you." "But dad-" "I said come on." And with that, he dragged me home.
"Why would you do that?" "I told you to never go to L'manburg or to ever become friends with anyone there." When I walked back into the house, everyone looked at me like I was disgusting, everyone but Nick and George. "Since my daughter has been sneaking off in the night to meet Wilbur, I'm declaring war. I don't care who dies there. I'm keeping Ophelia safe."
