The Cheerleader and The Freak

Chapter 1

Brittany POV:

I wake up took a shower and got my Cheer uniform on and went to Dustin room

Brittany: Come on if you want a ride

Dustin: Okay I'm coming

We get to the car and today was the prep rally and then Spring break Dustin told me Mike was going to Cali and Lucas is on the basketball team so he can't come to their D&D game and we talk about what to do over spring break. We pull into the school and got out.

Brittany: Meet me back here after school

Dustin: Okay I will

We get into the school me and the rest of the cheerleaders do our routine then the basketball players come out. Jason starts his speech then he started to talk about Billy Hopper by then the tears were already running down my face as if they die so they stupid basketball team can win or whatever. I ran to the bathroom making sure I looked fine and went back it was over so I head to my first class which was boring then I had to go to the school counselor Ms.Kelly.

Ms.Kelly: Brittany how you been

Brittany: Fine

Ms.Kelly: Still getting nightmares

Brittany: No

Even thought I was but I wasn't going to tell her that because she want me to describe it

Ms.Kelly: Okay what about headaches

Brittany: Yeah

The bell rang

Brittany: I should go

I got up and left before she could say anything after a few boring classes it was lunch I sitted with Max today even though I normally sitted with the cheerleaders

Brittany: Hey max how you doin

Max: I been fine how bout you

Brittany: Okay I guess

We talked then Eddie stood up on the table and started yelling

Eddie: AS LONG AS YOU'RE INTO BAND OR SCIENCE OR PARTIES OR GAMES WERE YOU TOSS BALLS INTO LAUNDRY BASKETS

Jason: You want something freak

Eddie looks at him stuck out his tongue and made a noise which I giggle me and him made eye contact after a few seconds I looked down

Max: You know its okay for you too like someone else and move on

Brittany: I don't know it hasn't even been a year since he been gone

Max: I know I get it but you can't just do this go talk to Eddie I saw that look

Brittany: Okay I will after I finish eating and talking to you

We continue to talk which she laugh for the first since Billy die which I understand she been griefing she still is I finish eating which I didn't really eat much

Max: Go on talk to him

Brittany: Okay see you later Max if you want I can give you a ride after school

Max: Thanks but I think I will skate and just clear my head

Brittany: Okay in case I don't see you be careful

I was walking over there then I heard Dustin

Dustin: My sister knows how to play I can ask her she use to play with me, Mike, Lucas, and Will

Eddie: Who's your sister

I was walking about to pass their table

Mike: Brittany is she is on cheerleading

Gareth: No way she's too pretty to be your sister and she wont play she has a game tonight

Dustin: You don't know that and look there she is

I started to walk faster then Dustin started yelling my name I turned around

Brittany: What

Dustin: Come here

Eddie: She not gonna come over and be seen with us the freaks and nerds

I walked over there

Brittany: I'm not like the other I don't care about popularity and who people see me hang out with

Eddie: Oh I'm sorry princess didn't mean to defend you

Brittany : What do you want Dustin

Dustin: Can you fill in for Lucas

Brittany: I can't I have a game to go to

Dustin: Yeah but it's just one game

Brittany: Okay and this is just one game reschedule it

The whole table start saying no

Eddie: OKAY SHUT UP she doesn't want to then find somebody else

Dustin: There is nobody else

I felt bad because I knew that was true and this was just one game it will be fine this would be the first game I miss so I will tell Chrissy to tell them I have to watch my brother

Brittany: Fine I will but only because I know you won't find nobody

I turn went to my next class. The day was finally over I was waiting by my car and saw Dustin we got into the car
