"There is something wrong!" I whined to him.

" What's wrong beautiful?" He asked handing me back my phone.

"Baby this pic is cute, But I wanna eat first"I whined again. I grabbed his hand and pulled him to walk through the mall parking lot.

"Eight, You gone eat after like I said" He walked with me. He's so annoying when he makes me wait for stuff. He grabs my ass "Eight."

"Nooo" I complained some more. We were now walking inside the mall. "I'm going to eat at the food court first" I pulled away from his hug. He looks at me and I can tell he about to give in for ya girrrrlll.

Oh not before snacking his lips "Eight let's go" yay I win.

Me and my boyfriend is now sitting at the tables in the food court. "Baby kaibee is so pretty." I told him. I was trying to change his mind, even just a little bit.

"She cute, but you cuter"

"Babe..."

"What?" He asked shrugging.

"Anyways, She-

"What have you found out about Killa?" he drinks from his cup.

"Lakeem to be honest, we don't even talk about Killa when we together."

"I need something, ima need you to step it up baby." He told me.
"You ain't forget the plan did you?"

"No babe" I crossed my arms. "It's just I don't wanna hurt her, him either." I whispered the last part.

"Shit gotta get done. We got bills. I got shit I gotta do besides pay bills too. People to pay to keep shit moving Yaamean? Shit real. You ain't new to this baby." He stressed to me.

"I know but baby-

"Baby nothing look where we at" he gestured around the mall "I'm about to spend some racks on you."

I pouted my face and rolled my eyes "So what we gone do"

"Fuck you mean what we gone do. We gone stick to the plan dummy" he shook his head "Get yo head in the game" he stood up and walked away saying " Or get kicked off the team."

I sat and played with my food for a few seconds.

I thought about what should I do.

I don't care about Killa, And Kaibee is just supposed to be another bitch we robbing. I'm not supposed to like her .....just snake her. But I don't know ..........I just like her.

Lakeem told me how him and kaibee use to date or mess around a long ass time ago. Or whatever. And now that Killa is her man it's perfect because him and Lakeem are already enemies. In this drug game you don't know who you can trust. It's sad but true.

But I'm not even jealous about that.

But I don't know.

I need my money and my shit payed for.
And Lakeem the first nigga to ever do that for me. I don't wanna kill her, but I'm not trying to lose this money.

He basically buys me everything I want. Anything I want. When I want. Even if we get our money the illegal way. My shit never been this straight.

Like what the fuck is Lakeem talking about getting kicked off the team?

I drank some of my soda and unlocked my phone to reply to messages. One of the messages was kaibee's.

This whole thing is stressing me out. I looked around the food court. Lakeem don't seem to be around. The deal between me and him was we follow her one day and I become friends with her.

Which I've done.

Me and Lakeem have knew each other for almost a year now. I met him at a liquor store. Ever since I've been holding him down. Like dead ass.

I shoot his enemies from the passenger side while he drives.

I run into traps with him and his crew when they need me.

Like it's all so much
But the thing is we make so much money and you get used to the fast life. Before Lakeem I was pretty much a normal girl.

I knew I wanted money tho. I knew eventually I would be rich.

I drove and drove until I reached my destination. I took a sigh before getting out of my car.

I knocked on the door and fixed my suit. A few seconds later my mother was opening the door.

"Hello mother" I walked inside.
"Hello my son" She smiled and let me in.

We walked to the kitchen where she was starting to prepare dinner for herself. "What are you making?" I asked her trying to look over her to the stove.

" Oh just some roast beef and potatoes" she fanned off my question "So have... you spoke...... to Her?"

"Yea, I saw her recently... We had lunch"

She tried to hide the surprised look on her face "Oh."

My mother knew I still really cared for her. However I don't think she likes the fact we had lunch.

"Son. It's just.... I don't think it's smart to be hanging out with her. Especially if she's got that boyfri-

I crossed my arms "-Ma I know where this is going"

"Then you should know you are running a multimillion dollar company, and you about to open more businesses and branc-

"I KNOW But I'm not worried about him." I told her trying to hurry up and end this conversation. Let's talk about anything else.

"Well he came in her with a gun ready to shoot you. So there's no telling what might happen if-

"I'm a man. I can take care of myself mother." I assure her.

"We'll fine, but don't forget I told you, you seeing her is a bad idea Adam."

"Well I think I'm going to cut this lunch short" I get up from the table and head for the door.

"No Honey I'm sorry"

I start to leave out the door

"IM JUST LOOKING OUT FOR YOU"
was the last thing I heard before I left my mothers house.

As I drove down the freeway my mothers words started to get to me. I wasn't worried about killa at all. I was worried how long would it take to have kaibee back.

I had to come up with some kind of way to show her I still cared. With the whole situation about the card and pictures, I fucked up really bad. I gave her a necklace the other day but still I feel like it's not enough. I don't know what I'm going to do.

I turned into the drive through of a coffee shop and started to order.

I never once questioned if kaibee still loved me. I just feel she does. Or maybe it's my head playing tricks on me. I drunk the coffee and it made me feel a little better. I was about five minutes from being home when I get pulled over by the police.

Great.

These are just the perks of living out here.
Cops everywhere. Pulling over the wrong people.
