Here's a book that I definitely didn't make solely to brag about my adorable cats and my friend's awesome makeup skills on my cosplays! Nope, definitely not!
Just yesterday my parents went over to my grandparents house for the day while I was at work. Once they got home, they told me they had a surprise for me. They brought me a box wrapped in pink wrapping paper and inside was the cutest little kitten from my grandparents neighbors!
This little cutie is Jersey! We named her that because her black spots make her look like a Jersey cow. It turns out Jersey cows are light brown and the black and white ones we were thinking of are called Holstein cows, but Jersey is a cute name so it stuck.
She's about six weeks old and we got her from my grandparents neighbors. She's a super friendly cat who likes to sleep on my pillow next to me while I sleep. Sometimes she'll get spooked and hiss at me since she's not used to our house yet, but she calms down as soon as I pick her up and she's never scratched me.
