Guys! Where did the hat go?! Well. I have a theory. So, the place burned down, they kept some of the stuff thy didn't get burnt too bad, and they sold it in an auction. Obviously this should mean someone bought it. And maybe even though the souls have been released from the animatronics, that hat is still haunted or possessed. At that person has to live with it, but maybe they didn't know. Which brings me to another theory, maybe Scott upped his game a little by make it to where you walk around the house (and you would be the person that bought the hat and lived there) and it would have became haunted by the animatronics, and you would have the hallucinations like you did in the third game. Then, something made the animatronic SringTrap come to that guy/girl's house and hunt him or her down and kill them, so they can get the Freddy hat back! And we know Springtrap is still alive since he was in the back of the picture of the newspaper picture when it talks about how it burnt down. (you have to brighten it up to see)
So that's my theory. If you guys have any ideas about this subject the tell me! And if you have found something new like a new update on his website or if some kind of clue or anything comes out tell me, and I will make a chapter about it! And I will also make sure to dedicate you to it!
