Baby Victor and Valentino: Part of "The TOON House"

S1 Ep18 - "The Ups & Downs of Life"

As another peaceful afternoon was cruising on by, Baby Victor and Baby Valentino were thinking of a brand NEW contest that they should try. Now, the FIRST part may sound familiar. At first, they got on their hands and feet and were ABOUT to be in their positions to do the acrobutt. BUT, instead, they were learning to do something new. Specifically… a handstand! Strategically, they were trying to get their little legs to rise high into the air as they were planning to use their little hands to support them instead of their feet. But since it was their first time doing this stunt, it was a bit trickier to do.

Baby Valentino was trying with all of his might, but grunted in the process. “You got it yet, Victor?”

“Not… yet…” Baby Victor replied as he was still on his hands and feet. “My little feet… just can’t get off the ground!”

But soon, however, they DID manage to get it! …for a few brief seconds. This is because they both just ended up tumbling to the floor, but they weren’t too severely hurt after their fall.

“I guess we can’t do handstands yet.” Baby Victor admitted while rubbing his bottom. “Maybe one day, we can…”

But guess what. Baby Valentino… WAS ASLEEP! AGAIN! He was just snoring away while sucking on his thumb and curled up into a little ball. But being a fast reactor, Baby Victor acted very quickly to get him back up.

“Val?” Baby Victor called as he gave him a few tiny nudges. “Hey, Val! You’re sleeping again!”

“Huh?! What?!” Baby Valentino gasped as he immediately woke up. “Oh. Sorry, Victor.”

Even though they couldn’t do their handstands yet, Baby Victor and Baby Valentino decided to go to their bed… and to sit against each other's backs. NOT because they were in a fight, but because they were curiously thinking about… well… themselves!

“Hmm…” they both thought to themselves.

Time just passed on by… and passed on by… and passed on by. However, they were starting to think about some of the flaws that they dealt with in the past.

“Man…” Baby Valentino sighed to himself. “I guess Victor did have a good point in my sleepy baby brain. Why IS that?! How come I just… feel… so sleepy?!”

“And why is my belly so… chubby now?” Baby Victor added as he looked at his body. “I think my belly is a bit too big, but my arms and legs are just so… tiny! These must be the reason for my baby legs!”

“And not JUST my brain!” Baby Valentino admitted. “I only have one tooth now sometimes! And… And… And I have a weird habit of nibbling my toes from time to time now too!”

All they could do was to think about their flaws that they dealt with when they first became babies… but they soon stopped.

“Val…” Baby Victor said to him.

“Hmm?” Baby Valentino wondered.

“Is it just me or… do we have problems?” Baby Victor sadly said.

“I think everyone does.” Baby Valentino admitted. “I think we both need to realize that even though we’re babies now, things can be good… while things can be bad. I think it’s just normal for everyone that’s around us.”

“I guess so.” Baby Victor nodded in agreement. “We just gotta make the most of everything. Even if we both happily agreed to be babies forever now.”

But then, Baby Victor looked at their little mobile to lighten his mood. Being as cute as he could be, he decided to reach for it by using his tiny arm to do so. But… he stopped doing that.

“Val…?” he wondered. “Even if we are still in diapers now, can you… promise that we won’t fight ever again? Because I want to have fun with you now instead of being a jerk.”

“Aww.” Baby Valentino smiled. “I promise… ya little meatball!”

To lighten their mood, Baby Valentino decided to surprise Baby Victor by giving him a tickle attack, to which Baby Victor responded with tickles of his own! This just caused a tickle fight to break out as they shared smiles and giggles with each other! But in the process, they did understand that even though good days and bad days do happen in everyday life, them being adorable babies is always the light at the end of their tunnels.
