I found my mate but what her pack did to her didn't settle well with me. How could they treat me beautiful mate that way? How could they? I'm fuming with anger and so is my wolf. I want to make them pay and they will.
Bailey said she wanted to go home which meant her pack so I'm going with her. When they see who her mate is they will accord her the right level of respect. The drive to Bailey's Pack is long and that gave me time to think about how to get my mate to feel safe and confident, and to know her worth.
Bailey fell asleep and ended up in my arms. The road was a bit bumpy. She almost bumped into the front seat twice. Having her in my arms I realized I was not alone anymore. I have a mate, a beautiful one at that. I was enjoying the moment when the SUV came to its stop that alone told me that we are at my mate's old pack. She was sleeping peacefully and I didn't want to wake her up so I decided on carrying her.
When we got out of the SUV the Alpha and some of his warriors.Were standing in the middle of what looked like a field.
" Prince Dante Silver. Future Alpha King, what brings you here to my pack? "
The Alpha said. I roll my eyes and look down at my sleeping mate. When I do the Alpha's gaze followed mine. He saw Bailey in my arms.
" Bailey. "
He says stepping forward.
" Don't! "
I growl.
" Why the hell not. That's my mate you're holding in your arms. "
He snaps back.
Bailey wakes up and puts her arm around my neck before looking at Alpha Stefan.
" Alpha. "
She said in greeting Stefan.
" Take your hands off her. "
Alpha Stefan yells ignoring Bailey's greeting. Bailey looks at me and says,
" Put me down. "
I do as I am told and then she looks at Alpha Stefan.
" You're making a scene Alpha, I rejected you. You were screwing another she-wolf right in front of me. "
Bailey says.
Her words knocked the air out of me. The Son of a Bitch dared to hurt her like that? Well, his loss. I put my arm around Bailey protectively. Alpha Stefan doesn't answer instead he looks at Bailey in disbelief. When he said nothing she continued to speak.
" You stood there and watched her try to kill me, you didn't protect me then, so don't you dare try to do what you should have done earlier, now. "
Bailey says.
Turns out my mate doesn't need convincing. She just wanted to tie up loose ends.
" The Moon Goddess blessed me with a mate one that has been waiting for me as I have waited for him."
She says smiling as she looks at me. She then turns back to Stefan.
" And if it wasn't clear before. I'll say it again. I Cassandra Rose Bailey reject you Alpha Stefan Cole as my mate. "
She says. Finality rang in each word as she said them. I'd hate to be him, luckily for me I'm not.
" Why did you come back? "
He asked around the pain in his voice.
" I am back to let you know that I have a mate and he accepts me. And Oh yeah dickface I'm a white wolf. Oh, another thing I am taking my sister with me."
She says walking past him.
