Chapter 5 - Planning A Ball

We ended up back in the library. It wasn't long till the Snobby King and Queen came in...

Uhh, she goes on and on and on. She was going on with shit. I went looking for a book. I can't read the fucking thing. How can they read this scribble?

Lunch... Fuck me... We had lunch in the garden. He went on with absolute shit as well. He loves the sound of his voice.

After lunch, they disappeared into the garden. I went back to my room and lay down. I want to listen to music, I can't kill my phone... I knew I should have charged my phone before I left.

"Lady Lily?" Edith cracks the door open. "May I come in?"

I sit up, 'what's up?'

She comes in and closes the door. "Is something wrong?"

'No, nothing wrong...'

"It's just you're in your room. Are you not feeling well?"

'I'm fine.' She's acting like a concerned mother. Mum asks she doesn't sound worried. 'I just want to chill and relax.

"Or is King Hanry and Queen Alianora, a bit too much?"

'Yes,' I nod.

"They are quite exhausting. Thankfully they're only staying the night."

'Thank fuck,' I lay back down.

She giggles, hear her walk over. "My Lord wishes to see you."

I sit up, 'why?'

"Why?"

I nod, it's only been a day. I'm tired of playing charades.

"He didn't say, just that he wishes to see you."

'Fine...' I get up and put my shoes on. I don't want to go out there...

"Lady Lily if I may speak?"

'You are aren't you?'

"Since our King and Queen passed. We haven't seen our Lord smile much. Even though, you've only been here a day. He hasn't stopped smiling."

'Good for him.'

"I thought I would let you know. The Lord waiting for you in his study." She opens the door and leads the way.

I wonder if they're going to guilt-trip me into staying.

"Lady Lily, could I make a request?"

'What do you want?'

"Our Lord... If he seems to be... Slipping into the darkness... Could you help him, please? This will be my only request. If you can do this request. I'll always serve you, do as you say. Please don't let him slip into the darkness."

'I mean you're a part of a cult. Technically you've already slipped into the darkness.'

"Please Lady Lily! I'll... I'll follow you back to your kingdom."

'Yeah, nah I don't need you to follow me. That's creepy...' I guess I can try and help. 'Okay, I'll do it. You don't need to follow me.'

"You'll take my request?" I nod, "thank you, Lady Lily!" She hugs me, she quickly lets go. "Please forgive my rudeness."

'It's okay,' I knock on the door.

"Who is it?" He doesn't sound happy. She's using!

"I've brought Lady Lily as you requested."

"Come in."

"Good luck," she opens the doors.

I walk in, it's so dark. Hear the doors close behind me.
