Deathskull salvaged a prototype of the n1 naboo starfighter that had 4 engines instead of 2.
Deathskull modified the engines to go twice the speed and have more maneuverability with upgraded weapons and system repair systems.
The hull is reinforced to take double the punishment and dish out much more firepower.
Instead of 2 laser cannons it has 4 along with more torpedo launchers for longer fights.
Homing torpedo launchers were added for long range fights like star destroyers or smaller aircraft.
Modern systems were added along with flares for dodging torpedo missiles and ejection seat incase of emergencies.
