JEONG GARAM WAS TIRED OF WHATEVER IS ABOUT TO HAPPEN TO HER. She buried her face in her arms as soon as she sat on her designated chair and tried to sleep through the noises of her classmates but failed to do so when she felt a poke on her shoulder.

Raising her head, Garam turned to face Ko Yurim who was smiling brightly at her— the girl just so happened to sit behind her. ❝Hi!❞

The Jeong gave her own smile, although slightly strained from the lack of sleep. ❝Hello, Miss Ko Yurim. Fancy meeting you after a long time.❞

The heir noticed the way the Ko's pinkish lips curled upwards more and grinned, her earlier tiredness going somewhere else.

❝If you are going to ask what our exam is for today, it's Math. I suggest you go for number 3. I also congratulate you for winning many medals this year. Quite the achievement.❞

Yurim's lips turned into a small 'o' before nodding in understanding, ❝I see, thank you! I also heard that you have been gathering medals as well?❞

❝Oh, it was nothing. My achievements is nothing compared to yours.❞

That was a white lie because the Jeong was going to compete in the one of the most prestigious piano competition soon, but it's Ko Yurim we're talking about.

Flattered, the fencer ducked her head and shook it, denying the flattering statement of the pianist. ❝Not at all! But seriously, thank you.❞

Garam merely waved it off. ❝Nothing to thank me for.❞ Before she was facing the front again because of the teacher that came in. The Jeong hummed quietly as she tapped her desk rhythmically, waiting for her papers to be given.

Once she did received it, the Jeong heir read through the questions and furrowed her brows. It was easy? Shaking her head in slight disbelief, Jeong Garam began answering whilst mentally solving the problems.

To think that she was also gone for a long time, the math test was way too easy for her.

Finishing it without even struggling, the star pianist subtly glanced at the girl behind her and smiled lightly when she saw the peaceful looking star fencer. Garam looked outside and the waiting game for everyone to finish began.
