Going Up The Stairs

"Well since you can't get up there yourself, I guess you do need my help," Mitsuba says, smirking. "The great exorcist with the traffic safety earring just cannot go on! He's blocked by something truly terrible, a staircase! How will he ever get up?"

Kou, who is a little annoyed by all the teasing, sighs and replies, "Just go up the stairs, Mitsuba,"

"Not before you ask the giant nicely, little exorcist,"

"I already did!"

"You didn't say please,"

Kou sighs again, louder this time. "Could you please carry me up the stairs, oh great and powerful Mitsuba?" he says sarcastically.

"Great, powerful, and cute you mean,"

I mean, he's not wrong, Kou thinks quickly before blushing and looking away. "And cute," he mumbles.

"I suppose I could take you up there," Mitsuba giggles. He cups both his hands under Kou, and starts to float up the stairs. Kou looks down at the steps as they ascend. I can't believe that I used to go up those so easily. I guess it shows just how small I am. Before long, Mitsuba reaches the next floor.

"Could you put me down now? I'm gonna go find Senpai and Hanako," Kou moves to get off of Mitsuba's palm, motioning that he wants to be set on the floor.

Mitsuba takes his other hand, and pushes Kou back from the edge.

"Hey, what the heck!" Kou protests, shoving away Mitsuba's finger, which is around the same size as he is. "Let me down!"

"Mmm, no,"

Sorry for the short update, I have a few things I need to do today before I can get that much more writing done, but I figured that a shorter update would be better than no update at all. Don't worry, I will get my other things done quick and the next update will hopefully be a lot longer!
