I inhaled a deep breath as I plonked down on the couch next to Slash, my shaky left hand reaching for my acoustic. I rested the body of my Gibson on my right knee, watching Slash do the same.

"Patience?" He asked me with a small smile, simultaneously placing his fingertips on the frets as he waited for an answer from me.

"Yeah, of course," I nod, watching his fingers intensely.

Slash must've seen the anxious look on my face because he rested his left hand on my shoulder, giving it a gentle squeeze as a sign of support. "Relax sweetheart," he spoke gently, grinning as I did exactly as he told me.

I nodded, sucking another deep breath as I moved my fingers over the aged fretboard of my guitar. Rhythm, Nellie. Rhythm.

Slash began playing effortlessly, smiling as he heard me back him up with the rhythm chords. I kept my eyes on my fingers, afraid that if I dared to glance up at Axl, Duff and Steven, I wouldn't be able to concentrate and lose it. I saw Slash beam at me thanks to my peripheral vision, a blush covering my cheeks out of nervousness.

Slash muted the strings as the song finished, a toothy grin left on his full lips. He was just staring at me. His gaze was eating me alive it seemed.

I finally looked over at Slash, a nervous look etched on my face as he grinned. I flashed him a small smile, the silence defending. He looked so childish- the grin he held made him look more youthful.

I tore my gaze away from his covered brown eyes to look at the bandmates that were sitting on the floor. Axl was wide-eyed, Duff was smirking and Steven was hugging a pillow to his chest. He was eyeing me with such admiration, it made me slightly uncomfortable. His lips were set in a wide grin, his fingers drumming slightly for no particular reason.

"That was something else," Axl was the first to speak his mind, his green eyes locked on mine. His cheekbones were slightly highlighted my the light, the curvature of his bottom lip tempting.

"Yeah. Fuck," Slash nodded in agreement, slapping his hand on my knee softly.

Steven didn't say anything, but his eyes and lips certainly did. He glanced to a smirking Duff, shoving his best friend playfully.

Duff glanced over to Steven, his eyebrows wiggling and his head making small movements. They were having a silent conversation.

I frowned in confusion. 'What was so good about me? Izzy was way better. Maybe it was because I'm a girl,' I thought.

"Welcome to Guns N' Roses, baby," Axl declared.

A/N: Sorry this is shit. Oh well.
