//Chapter Seven// - I Spy.
Walking along Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson felt his palms become sweaty for a number not reasons.
The proximity to him. The small smile the green-eyed man would offer up every now and then. Even the way Stephen's cologne lingered in the air, threatening to wrap it's around Klay like the sheets of a bed.
All in all, Stephen had on the man's mind for the longest, and Klay was uncertain on how he would even be able to focus.
He subconsciously opened the back door of the Portland Trailblazers arena before Stephen could do so, already treating him like the woman in their 'relationship'.
"Did you get any sleep, Klay? ...You look really tired..." Stephen Curry remarked, slowing his pace to tend to his closest teammate, his fingers gently rubbing under one of Klay's eyes, causing him to chuckle.
And he could only thank God that he hid his nervousness.
"I get my sleep, trust me, Stephen... I just have a lot on my mind." Klay sighed, referring to his sister, causing Stephen to lightly nod.
Their walk to the locker room was comfortably silent after Klay's words, them both being the first to walk inside, mentally preparing themselves for the game ahead of them.
The first two quarters were a bit tough for the Warriors. At least that usual Warriors that always outscored everyone on such a high level. The 2nd half ended in the Warriors leading by 15, but the shirt lead seemed to have Klay frustrated as they headed back to the locker room for halftime.
Stephen took a bottle of water from a cooler, tossing a towel around his neck as he sipped the drink, heading towards the back of the room, where he saw Klay walk to.
Klay sat on a bench alone, muttering things to himself and surely going over the many things he seemed to do wrong on the court.
But all that pain seemed to wash away as soon as Stephen placed his hands on the man's shoulder, causing the man to take a deep breath big relief, as Stephen slowly began to move his hands back and forth.
"Don't forget to have fun, Klay...We're winning, remember that... Never let a game stress you out, only let it get you fired up."
The man was sure his actions were a bit forward, but Klay was under a large amount of stress, and he figured it was the least he could do for him.
Coach Kerr announced a 5 minute warning, stating that the team would have to go back out quite soon, Stephen leaving Klay to go freshen up before the game.
"You totally like Klay, don't you?"
Stephen Curry had made his way inside the restroom, nearly chocking on the water he tossed in his face as he heard someone's chuckled words.
Looking up, he saw a smirking Monta Ellis, Stephen looking around to find out that they were the only two in the bathroom.
Stephen blushed immensely, wiping his red cheeks with a towel.
"N-No I don't..." Stephen Curry lied, leaving Monta Ellis to tease him until it was fine to go back on the court.
