Chapter 1- The journey to the temple part-2

Time has pasted the weather has calm down at least for now. Thomas is looking at a beautiful sunset. Thomas is petting Griffin while Theo is rests his head on Thomas's shoulder. Dreng walks to Thomas and than sits beside him. Thomas speaks "I apologize what I said that was something you shouldn't seen me like that" Dreng speaks "Don't apologize My daughter did the same thing" Thomas speaks "really? What did Mila say?" Dreng speaks "after my wife left me she said I hate you I wish you were gone" Dreng Sighs and than speaks "I went to the tavern and drink myself day and night I was ready to die" Thomas looks a little sad after hearing that. Dreng speaks "But that day in the mines when you saved my daughter and I. I saw something special in you kid" Thomas smiles after hearing that. Dreng speaks "If you believe we can save Jasper than I believe that too" Thomas speaks "Thank you Dreng" Dreng takes out his last bottle of ale and opens it. Dreng drinks his ale and than passes to Thomas. Thomas gently takes Dreng's bottle and takes a slip. The taste of ale has a hint of spice and tasted like grapes. Thomas speaks "This is tastes amazing. What is this" Dreng speaks "My sister calls it grape of fire" Thomas speaks "Well tell you're sister it tastes amazing and tell her I want the recipe" Dreng speaks "well do" Clara walks forward and than stops. Clara speaks "Thomas?" Both Thomas and Dreng turn around and see Clara. Dreng speaks "I'll leave you two be" Thomas about to give the bottle of ale to Dreng but Dreng gently touches Thomas's hand that's on the battle. Dreng speaks "Keep it kid It's yours" Thomas speaks "Thank you Dreng" Dreng gets up and leaves. Clara sits beside Thomas. Clara speaks "Thomas I wanted to apologize what happened back there" Thomas speaks "It's alright Clara" Clara speaks "it wasn't alright. I got angry and..." Clara looks down and than looks at Thomas. Clara speaks "I got scared" Thomas speaks sounding concern "You're scared?" Clara nods her head yes. Thomas speaks "What are you afraid of?" Clara looks at the stars in the sky. Clara speaks "Being alone" Thomas listens to Clara. Clara speaks "My mother and father died in colmer just like everyone else. My mother was a bard and my father worked in the mines and than when I lost you and Gavin.. I felt alone" Thomas speaks "Until you met Leucis" Clara speaks "Yes...Leucis was there for me and saved me more time than I could count I just....I just wish I could have saved him. Thomas speaks "His death was not you're fault" Clara Doesn't know what to say. Thomas speaks "Clara" Clara looks at Thomas. Thomas and Clara look at Each other. Clara speaks "I know it's not my fault but if something were to happen to you at the temple I would never forgive myself" Thomas gently holds Clara's hand. Thomas speaks "If something happens to me I don't want you to blame yourself. I don't want you to be sad or angry I want you to be stronger and brave just like you are now" Tears roll Down Clara's face. Clara gets emotional and than speaks "You're such a bustard" Both Clara and Thomas laugh. Thomas starts to get emotional as tears roll down Thomas's face as he laughs. Both Thomas and Clara wipe tears off their faces. Thomas speaks "You being here right now means the world to me I love you" Clara speaks "I love you too" both Thomas and Clara hug each other. Clara kisses Thomas on the cheek. Thomas and Clara hug each other. Thomas looks at Carla like family His best friend his sister. Thomas knows Carla worry and pain he hopes truly she doesn't blame herself if he dies.
