Chapter- 12 Almost home part-1

It's the morning Thomas, Jasper, Gavin, and Carla are saying their goodbyes to Leofric. Carla, Gavin  look at Leofric. Leofric looks at Gavin and Carla. Leofric speaks "Take care of him" Gavin speaks "We will" Carla speaks "We will See at colmer" Leofric and Jasper looked at each other. Leofric speaks "I hope you know I look and think of you as my second son. You're mother would've been so proud of you" Jasper smiles and Than speaks "Thank you that means a lot coming from you" Leofric smiles a little. Leofric and Jasper hug Each other. Leofric speaks "You be careful now" Jasper speaks "I will. See you at colmer" Leofric and Jasper stop hugging. Leofric and Thomas look at Each other. Leofric speaks "You know I was scared to tell you that I am you're father I thought you would hate or cast me out. I hope you know I'm sorry. I'm sorry I wasn't there when you grew up or been there when you're mother—" Thomas gently grabs Leofric and hugs him. Leofric is surprised but hugs Thomas back. Thomas speaks "You given a chance to be a son again and I have given a father again. I wouldn't traden this for anything" Leofric Hugs Thomas Back. Small tears run down Leofric's face. Leofric speaks "I love you Son" Thomas speaks "I love you too" Leofric gently kisses Thomas's head while hugging him. Thomas and Leofric stop hugging and Than looked at each other. Leofric looks at everyone and speaks "Be safe all of you" Jasper speaks in elven language "May the light guide you" Leofric speaks in elven language "May the light guide you" Everyone looks at Leofric and Than make their to exit the city. More tears run though Leofric's face. Leofric gently wipes his tears away. Thomas looks back and looks at Leofric. Leofric smiles and waves to Thomas. Thomas waves back at Leofric. Thomas and Leofric looked at each other. Thomas Than takes his leave. Thomas and his companions leave the city. Thomas Sees Theo flying towards and gently lands Thomas's shoulder. Thomas smiles and gently pets. Thomas Sees a letter on theo's foot. Thomas gently takes the letter from theo's foot and reads it. Thomas smiles. Thomas speaks "Jackson and his tribe made it. They set up camp in the woods viewing Colmer" Gavin speaks "Makes sense doesn't want the Emmy to know" Thomas speaks "He also said Freyja and Aries made it too. They are with Jackson" Gavin speaks "Thank the gods" Thomas speaks "Jackson also said the centaurs and the legion have also arrived" Thomas continues reading the letter. Thomas speaks "That's all he said" Jasper speaks "What about my sister and my tribe" Thomas speaks "It doesn't say" Jasper is quiet. Thomas gently holds Jasper's hand. Thomas speaks "I'm sure they are okay" Jasper speaks "I hope so" Everyone continues to walks forward on the dirt road. Gavin and Thomas walks side by side. Carla and Jasper walk side by side and are talking. Gavin speaks "How are you feeling?" Thomas speaks "I'm...." Thomas hesitates on Answering that question. Gavin speaks "It's okay to feel scared" Thomas speaks "Everyone is depending on me to save the world and to save colmer. I have the dragon blade and I have my mother's necklace. But can we truly stop William" Gavin speaks "We have to try. You know I almost died once" Thomas speaks "at colmer?" Gavin speaks "Yes. I was trapped in that prison for a long time. When Freyja free me it was like given a second chance but during my time with Freyja and the tribe. I couldn't help but wanted to go back to colmer and reclaim it. But I couldn't do I was not a leader. You are. You were born to lead. You are just like you're mother" Thomas smiles a little. Thomas speaks "I'm so thankful you're on my side brother" Gavin smiles and speaks "brothers until Than end"
