Note from author. : in English today I wrote this bc they told us to write a story about a fair so I rote this 🙄✋.
A/N (again): This is fully based off of the comics by Alice and is in no way related to the actors of the characters mentioned below. Ty. (This is also based 3years in the future so Nick is 19 and Charlie is 17. Nearly 18.

Nick's POV:
I woke up next to Charlie, he had slept over for the past week or so now. His house is under construction due to the fact there getting an extension on it. His family is staying in another town but he wanted to stay with me and well... I couldn't say no. He would be here for a few months so it's worth it I guess.
My feet slipped out the bed and I looked at the clock. 6:30 am. Just in time. I shook Charlie to wake him up as we had to get ready for school. "Charlie, c'mon you have to get up..." I said calmly. Charlie opened his eyes and then realised that it was time to get up. "I don't wanna." "Can't we just skip the day like what the worst that could happen." "Charlie I would but... it's my exams soon and I can't miss a day..." Charlie nodded but stayed in bed. "Leave me here then." "No, not a chance" I picked Charlie up in a bridal style and carried him downstairs, I put him on the sofa.
I sat next to him. "What do you want for breakfast?" I asked him with my arm around his shoulder. "Nothing... I'm no-" I cut him off quickly. "No, your eating something Charlie you haven't in the past 2 days." He looked at him and looked away. "I'm just not hungry..." "you always say that and idc your eating something, like it or not."
I kissed his forehead and made my way to the kitchen. I thought about what Charlie said... it couldn't hurt to miss 1 day could it? No.... Even if I did miss a day I could just ask my friends what we did, then revise extra tomorrow. I sigh and walk back into the living room.
"I'll skip one day." Charlie looked at me. "Thank you." I kissed him on the forehead and made my way upstairs. I heard the creek of the stairs as I realised Charlie was following me.
My hand grasps the silver door handle, twists and opens the door. I hold it open for Charlie to walk in before me. I close the door, take my shirt off and start to look around for a suitable outfit to make me look presentable in public. I look over to see Charlie staring at me. "Wow." He says quickly looking directly at my six pac. I laugh slightly. "Enjoying the view are we?" I say turning around to rummaging in the wardrobe.
I finally find a light blue button-up shirt. I start to pass my arms through the sleeves, "noooo keep it off.😭" Charlie says, still staring at me. "No I'm freezing. And we're going out later, do you really expect me to walk around the streets of England half naked!?". Charlie smirks at me, walks up to me and puts his arms round my shoulders. "Well the fair is open all night and it's only 6pm sooo we have plenty of time to ourselves." I sigh and hold his waist. "Fine. But only cuddles I'm too tired rn." Charlie looked a little disappointed but understood and lead me to the bed. We laid down facing each other. Charlie was cuddled into my chest and his his leg was wrapped around both of mine, it felt like wearing a backpack on my stomach. My arms were wrapped around his shoulders and my hands resting on the back of his neck.
I liked it like this. Just the two of us alone. I love him so much, he's just so cute cuddled into me so close you can barely see him. When all of a sudden the room went pitch black. Charlie flinched and cuddled into me more. "Charlie, are you okay?" I ask staring into plain darkness. "Yeah. I'm good just dint expect that, haha" Charlie replied still clearly startled by the sudden darkness. "Would kisses make it better?" I say trying to cheer him up a bit. Charlie moves what I assume is his head as I can feel his dark fluffy hair lightly brush my face. "It would but, how am I supposed to kiss you if I don't even know where you face is." He lets out a soft chuckle and so do I. I lift my hands up trying to navigate my way around Charlie's body then I finally reach his hair I at least know where his head is. My hands find Charlie's chin and lifts it up towards me. "Move you head straight up, that's where my face is," I laugh again as Charlie raises his head and kisses me softly.
"It's about time, I've beet waiting for kisses all day." Charlie says with a quite annoyed tone. "Well you getting them now," I say as I kiss his forehead. This goes off for a while and fore some reason it felt more...well intense. Yes it's nothing new like we did thing before but this was just kissing. So why did it feel so...intimate. "Mmmh, we'd better stop, we need to head off to the fair soon." I say with my head resting on Charlie. I kiss his one more time quickly and get out of bed.
[Time skip]
Charlie was waiting at the bottom of the stairs for me, he gets dressed way quicker then I do and I honestly have no clue how. "I'm coming!" I quickly come down the stairs. "Took you long enough." He says smirking at me. "Hey it only took me 7 minutes, not my fault you get changed so quickly." When I met him at the bottom of the stairs I place my arm around his back. "Come on, let's go."
We get to the fair and all think about are the flashing lights, the energetic music playing from the INSANE rides and Charlie my one and only. I was quite nervous the first few minutes we were holding hands but I think all lgbtq+ couples are in public, as we know we're not as well...accepted as much but I'll get used to it. Hopefully.
Walking further into the fair the rides get more insane, "So what do you want to do?" Charlie looks up at me and smiles. "Uhhh.." he looks around searching for something to do. "I wanna go on that" he points to a ridiculously tall ride that is currently falling at about 70mph. While spinning. I gulp and hold Charlie's hand tighter. "Sure...." Charlie just smiled and sighed. "Nick you don't have to." "No, no I'm fine I just didn't expect you to well... like those sort of rides." I laugh slightly. "Good" Charlie says as he leads me off towards the queue. The queue was MASSIVE. We were behind like 50 people and in front of us was this middle aged woman and her child. The kid was fairly tall about 3 inches shorter that Charlie and the woman was around Charlie's hight.
[time skip (3mins)]
The woman kept looking at the child's shirt for some reason. "Ugh for god sake child did you have to bright that stupid badge with you!" She then tugged on the child's shirt and pulled a bisexual, trans and pride pin off of the kid. I flinched suddenly trying to act like I wasn't seeing this. "OW! Mum that hurt!" I then look over to see the kid holding their chest. Charlie looks up at me and I signal to look in front and Charlie looks confused until the lady starts braking and stomping on the pins. "It's disgusting, the gays are vile sinners and are going to hell!" Charlie grabbed my hand tighter.
The woman turned her head until she got to us and accidentally took a glimpse of our hands. "Ahh typical, you gays are everywhere! You are the reason my daughter is like this!" I stay quiet and look to see the child has one more pin reading "he/him" I then turn back to the woman. "First of all lady we can be wherever the fuck we want to be and second we did not do anything to your son, he was just born that way and unfortunately you just gonna have to deal with it!" The kid just looked up at me and smiled. He looked so grateful. Charlie was just looking at the floor. "Ugh come on Amelia!" The kid didn't move. "It's Jaden." The woman look furious. "What!?" "My name is Jaden and I'm not going anywhere with you!" The woman was about to grab the kid but security stopped her after hearing all the commotion.
[time skip]
Me and Charlie were sat with Jaden. "Are you ok?" Charlie said softly. "Yeah.. I'm used to it, the only thing I'm worried about is. Where do I go now?" Charlie looks at me me and I nod knowing exactly what he's thinking. He turns back to Jaden and opend his mouth to speak. "Well Jaden we actually spoke to the officers and they said since you would've been taken away social services we thought that maybe...." Charlie hesitated then got up and bent down to face Jaden. "Jaden, would you like to live with us? We know you haven't known us that that long bu-" "YES!" Jaden screamed interrupting Charlie. I just smiled and laughed. "You'll be living with nicks mum until I turn 18 in few weeks so we can legally adopt you." Charlie stated. Jaden nodded and we all had a group hug.

Apparently nick and Charlie are now dads 😌👌 even tho it may not make sense with actual English law but oh well💀.
