I am very good at fighting. In my entire school life I got into numerous fights over lunch money, girls and what so ever. This one to one is nothing to me.

I just throw a few punches and the fucker got down on his knee.

'You asshole....I thought we became friends after yesterday...but you're not worthy of my friendship. Go to hell'. I said fuming.

The booming laugh came from the other boy.

'What the fuck are you talking about, when did we meet yesterday? I met you last week at science lab you moron and we are not close enough to become friends. Get lost.' The boy in front of me said panting.

Ohh...I mixed up...

I went to the bruised boy grudgingly and helped him stand up.

'You ok?'

'Uh huh'.

'I... Mixed up.'

'I thought so too'.

'Let's go before teachers could find us.'

'Yeah, let's go'

'Natty is mine don't you forget that'. Suddenly the other boy sprang to his feet and starts shouting.

Before Tay can say anything I went to him and grabbed his collar,

'Stop harassing my friend and his girlfriend or else you have to deal with me, understand?' I shoved him hard.

With that I grabbed Tay's hand and stormed out of the place. The boy was gaping at me.

Tay was quite all the way. I held his hand and took him to my hidding place.

It's an abandoned lab far from the main building. Whenever I feel low this place becomes my sanctuary. Only Liam knows about it, I didn't tell him he followed me one day and discoverd it. Nosy basterd.

'Don't you have a class?'

'Yeah I have but it's already late. The professor is very strict he would not allow anybody after the bells.'

'Sorry you miss the class because of me'

'No issue. Liam will take notes for me'.

'Ohh good'

Tay wasn't acting like himself. He seems nervous. Probably worried about Natty.

'Stop worrying. Natty is a nice girl, she won't leave you for that moron, that boy has some issues.'

Tay stays silent. I tend his wounds with little resources I have, my water bottle and a clean hanky.

His face has some distinct features. He is handsome without a doubt but the permanent frown makes him unapproachable.

But his smile....is something else. Whenever I saw him smiling it totally changes his face. He becomes scary to friendly in a nano second.

He should smile more often...

'New'

'Y...Yeah?' I was thinking about his smile when he calls me.

'....'

'Yes Tay you were saying something?'

'Natty is not my girlfriend.'

'What do you mean?'

'Natty is fluke's girlfriend the boy you punched.'

Now it was my turn to feel shocked.

'You are joking!'

'No,' he shook his head, ' Natty and Fluke are couples, but three months ago they had an ungly fight, he cheated on her. So she asked me to pretend to be her boyfriend to make him understand the pain. I know deep down she still loves him and after today it's clear that Fluke loves her too.'

'Yeah' A goofy smile spread across his face.

Thats the face I was talking about earlier.

Tay's warm smile was a sight to behold. It's like sunshine.

'You are my friend' I finished my sentence with a smile too.

Tay is happy.

And I am happy too.

'Let's shake hands friend...'

Before I could finish my sentence Tay pulled me in for a tight hug.
