The sunshined in the early morning. It was nice outside. A perfect day. Two cats sat side by side, one black and one gray, a clear resemblance showed in each of them. They were brothers. They watched the cars go by on the road, one by one.
A bell jingled as another cat arrived. A fluffy, orange cat sat beside the two brothers. "Beautiful day, huh" The orange one meowed cheerfully. The gray one hummed in reply, while the other one stayed silent, looking at the ground.
"Hey, Boots" The gray one said, nudging his brother. "Huh? What?" Boots seemed to snap out of his daydreaming state and looked up at the orange cat. "Oh, hey Gingerale" He meowed. Gingerale flopped down in the grass, her collar making even more noise. Boots sighed. "This is why I don't wear collars" He looked over to his brother, who nodded in agreement.
Boots's attention was then brought to the other side of the road. He then turned away. "Hey Abe," He said to his brother. Abe turned to look at him. "Race ya' to the other side of the road?" Boots tilted his head, waiting for his answer. "I-I don't know... It looks kinda busy" Abe sighed. Abe's attention was then diverted to a little beetle in the grass, which he pawed playfully.
"Aw, but that's what makes it fun! It's more challenging!" He stood up proudly.
"Well, then I guess I'll do it alone!"

-M1dnightFun fact: A cat was once born green. They believe it was because of the high levels of copper in the water.
