It was a bright early morning, sun blasting in through the windows in the room where Ray had just awoken from her slumber. She stumbled getting out of Vinny's apartment, long vacations always left her forgetful, but she was appreciative of her rest. She started her day by running her errands, and of course by calling Eric about his car.

"No worries, Ray! I'm happy you're back!" Eric was easily forgiving. At first, she was anxious to call him but after the nice little chat, it was clear to her that Eric was still very much her 'Bestie'.

A huge grin spread across her face as Taco passed her at the cubby, "Raychell!" greeting her with a warm hug. They made plans to catch up before Taco headed out to join Ramee for a meth run.

Ray proceeded to exchange a few text messages with her gorl, who teased Ray that it was her vlog that encouraged Ray to come back. While she was on vacation, April went as far as recording a short video with a guest star, talking about how they wished Ray would be there with them.

"Remember, when we did that bank?" April spoke with enthusiasm in the clip.

"That one time? You left us! We miss you!" Tommy called out in the back while posing for April's camera.

"That one time, when you sat outside upset about hacking, even though you can hack. And Tommy was there. And Randy. Anyway. Come back to the city, we miss you bitch!" April rushed the end with a hint of bossiness, that made Ray chuckle, feeling loved and missed by her supportive friends. With the swell warming of her heart, she closed her eyes, allowing a single tear to escape as it rolled down her blushy cheeks.

Scrolling through other contacts, her thumb stopped hovering above the screen. With bright eyes settled on a name, a smile grew on her face at just the thought of talking to this person again. She always redeemed happiness hanging out with all her friends, but this one in particular, knew how to make her laugh into oblivion.

Unable to contain her excitement, she fumbled to dial the number and the phone started ringing. It kept ringing up until it redirected to voicemail at which Ray simply hung up the phone, he's probably helping the boys with the meth run.

Ray carried on taking out Eric's car from the Little Seoul garage. They met at Uwu, where they had a little brunch along with Max and Lucas discussing Pixel Perfect which got Ray's creative juices flowing. She really wanted to make a positive impact in the city, to which the three boys responded by saying she already does by just being here.

"You guys are making me sick with this sweetness," Ray giggled, shaking her head.

After their farewells, she decided to walk back to the compound, it wasn't far anyway. Passing the gas station, she ran into Chodie who was exhanging subtle whispers with the locals.

"Did you just think you can wake up and not call me to say hi?" He teased playfully at the sight of her.

"Sorry boss!" Ray grinned, "I missed you a lot."

"You were missed too. But speaking of missing, you missed a lot of things." He warned her.

"I know, I need to catch up on everything and get back on my grind. I'm broke now!" Ray announced, displaying the keys to her NSX from her cluttered pocket.

The asset fees to her dusty, yet unused NSX left her bank credits drained. On top of that, she had yet to start racing it, and her previous experience in racing taught her that this activity came with expenses she couldn't affort at the moment.

They both sat chatting while passing weed bags out to locals, their small talk got interrupted by Ray's phone ringing. She jumped up with a squeal, "Chodie, sorry, give me a moment." Ray reached down to her pocket, scooping for her phone.
