Sirens washed over the nearby streets of Little Seoul, as a Lexus, a Buggy, and a Mustang pulled into the compound.
Ramee, K, and Randy parked their vehicles in the garage for cover. Meanwhile, Taco and Curtis locked the gate to ensure no one would trespass. K ran straight into his apartment so that air one wouldn't spot him. He had a warrant out for him and he wasn't going to give cops a reason to ram the gate.
Suddenly, Ray emerged out of Vinny's apartment, concern flashed over her face. Her hair was messy and her breathing was heavy as she walked over to the boys.
"Wow, did you just run a marathon?" Ramee quirked a brow at Ray who was trying to make herself look more presentable.
"I did, running out here to see what was going on? Is everything okay?" Ray asked with a quick breath in between words.
"Yeah we chillin', we dusted them long ago," Randy yelled over shutting the garage and inserting a lock to secure the cars. "You good? Sound kinda..." He trailed off, hyper-focusing on hiding the key somewhere easily accessible in case they needed their cars for an emergency.
"They're just chasing their own tails at this point." Curtis laughed as he walked closer to where Ramee and Ray stood. "Wow, is that a-."
"Curtis, shut up!" Ray warned him. In the midst of rushing to check on the boys, Ray hadn't even thought about it. Her hands immediately flew to her exposed neck, trying to cover the red area.
"Huh? Raychell?" Taco teased, chuckling to himself.
"Taco quit it." She tried to submerge the boys rising excitement but failed.
"Ray, I expected better from you. What did I tell you before, don't be like April. Who are you even hooking up with?" Ramee mocked with a grin.
Randy had hidden the key and was now coming over to see what the hassle was about. He dropped the key into Ramee's mailbox, thinking it was good enough since it was locked and if anything, Ramee was right here to open it.
In a few short strides, Randy was in front of the boys while Ray peered at him above Taco's shoulder as Randy towered over the four blushy-cheeked individuals. Randy was intimidating for most, but never to his close friends.
"What's going on?" Randy asked casually, while he spun to look through the gates as a cop car aimlessly drove by. No one spoke, but a gulp came from someone in the group causing Randy to turn back over to face them.
"Randy, where did you put the key?" Ramee attempted, stepping forward and placing a hand over Randy's shoulder as he rotated Randy to face the opposite way. "I didn't notice."
"It's with your bills. Speaking of, I think April was looking for you earlier," Randy carried on as Ramee sighed in relief, happy his distraction worked. "Something about her LFA asset fees or maybe she just wanted to milk you more," Randy smirked, knowing his comment would trigger Ramee.
"She isn't like that anymore, she makes her own money." Ramee got offended on April's behalf. He retracted away from Randy, shoving his hands in his pockets in search of his phone.
Randy chuckled at Ramee's actions. "When she says jump, you ask how high?"
"That's not true, besides, I didn't respond until now-." Ramee shot back, disgruntled, but broke his attention from Randy as the phone beeped and a cheerful sing-song voice came from the other side.
"Hey Ramee, it's your girl April." The volume from the phone rang audibly over the entire cubby.
"April!" Ramee's tone changed immensely from that which he used on Randy to a sweet, cheerful fluff. Ramee gave Randy a minor apathetic look while he strode to his apartment.
