"Just a second folks!" Midnight's voice cut through the tense atmosphere of the match. "Pause right there! We think someone stepped out of bounds it will be just a moment while we review the tapes" She states. "Hold onto your seats!" She said on the intercom, I stood my ground in case anything happened "Wait, what?" Kirishima chirped beside Deku. "Did any of you guys see them step over? Kirishima said reluctantly. "Maybe his hand went over by accident?" Kaminari Questioned "don't be stupid," Deku said "based on my calculations there is no way," Ida said pushing up his glasses. "Neither of them has gotten closer than halfway to the line, this whole pause thing is bullshit," Shoto said as Deku opened his mouth to respond, but stopped as Deku suddenly suspended his mouth open "what is it?" Kaminari said as his mouth opened, It rattled their bones and made their eyes water as the horrible feeling clawed its way up their spines. Kirishima and Shoto's faces paled "Keeto?" Shoto called out, voice shaking.

Aizawa's stomach sank to the floor as he watched me drop, body fuzzing and disintegrating in a way he had never seen before. No one in charge of the festival would want to believe this was happening. Aizawa's hands shook with such pain and lingering fear. He couldn't do a thing but sit and watch, his body couldn't move, Kakashi's body couldn't move, Toshi's body couldn't move, throat closing as worry suffocated them all. Bakugo came at me which such force I tried to stop him but he punched me so hard in the stomach all I could do was fall to the ground. I tried to recover, but it was too late. It was just like when I found that letter from my dad. Yes, I was dizzy; Yes, my body swayed; Yes, my legs felt as if they'd collapse at any moment. But I knew I could give up. It was in my bones, in the throb of my wounded arm, in the beat of my heart. concentration lost as my limbs flailed. Katsuki straightened backing up from me in horror. He had punched a hole in my side leaving a huge gash revealing some interesting things, I should've been dead but I couldn't give up. I just couldn't.

I tried to walk to Bakugo lifting my arm but failing to do so when my eyes began to close as I swayed dropping to my knees, my head felt dizzy. I felt like darkness was surrounding me. I fell with my back to the ground looking up at the sky as it began to trickle with rain. It was over. The pain was over. I could no longer feel anything. I gave up. Kenji was small and injured he appeared before Bakugo and growled. He whimpered and cried laying by my side as my eyes became dull with no life. I lay there empty as Bakugo tripped over himself looking at what his hands had done.

Aizawa stood up from his seat fast listening as no one cheered. No one wanted to. Everyone watched in horror as I lay there dead., watching intently as Kakashi, Shoto, and Aizawa all yelled running or appearing on the grounds. Shoto got there first he was, a sobbing mess. Hizashi clicked on the microphones "students, please go back to your dorms. Do not rush. Do not harm anyone exiting the arena" Hizashi stated as everyone began to leave.

The temperature of Shoto's body dropped sobs roaring through the sky as he fell to his knees putting me in his arms. The ground began to shake, the walls and floors struggling through a man-made earthquake made by Shoto's pain. Hizashi's voice echoed as people were still exiting except for class 1-A "Hachisuka Katsumi is. No longer with us at this time" he said sobbing turning the mic off "Don't say that!" Shoto screamed. Aizawa recoiled from the panicked shout that tore out of Todoroki's throat. "Shoto" Aizawa soothed as he was the second to arrive. "No! I will not lose you! Please! I love you! Katsumi!?" another roar from Todoroki rebounded through the air, echoed, and rattled. Kakashi was the last to show. His blood ran cold. He couldn't believe what he was seeing

I was pronounced dead that evening, Shoto was being comforted by everyone, Bakugo hadn't come to the school that day, and the police went looking for him. Aizawa felt his phone vibrate in his pocket, and he silently begged for it to just shut the fuck up as they sit there together in the teacher's lounge. Shoto had finally settled for the most part. Thankfully, he had managed to coax Todoroki into the break room, the smell of coffee still lingering in the air from earlier. He had made his way over to a chair and carefully sat down in it, still talking to Midoriya, and instead of getting upset since they were no longer moving as Aizawa expected, Shoto's ear hovered around Aizawa's chest, listening, quiet sniffles coming out of the curled up ball just above his lap.

Though Shoto had immediately taken refuge in his lap, curling up into a tiny ball with his knees tucked into his chest. His injuries were the worst Aizawa had seen, because he couldn't, Shoto's wounds were deep and emotional. This kind of pain could never be healed. The image rewinded in Shoto's mind of seeing me bloody, raw, and twisted. Aizawa didn't move, he just let the kid soak in as much comfort as he could. Hours passed of silence from everyone in the room "Do you want anything?" Aizawa asked quietly to his surprise, Shoto shook his head. He tapped the pocket with his phone pulling it out.

Something on the screen caught Shoto's eye, and Shoto's lower lip wobbled then turned to a furious frown, eyes ablaze as he looked at Aizawa. He pointed at the phone, asking. Aizawa looked. Bakugo had sent a message. "Want me to read it?" he said, in what he hoped to be an encouraging tone. "No" Shoto began to type away furiously with slightly shaking hands. Shoto's phone vibrated with another message from Bakugo. "Do you want my phone for a while?" he offered. Any distraction was a good one in Aizawa's eyes, and maybe having some connection to the rest of the students while he calmed down with someone he trusted would be the best decision.

"Listen kiddo," He said, Shoto turned his attention to him "I don't know the pain your feel on a personal level but I do understand where your coming from," he said tears rolling down his face. Kakashi sat back up "I don't even know what to tell her mom," he said, "Don't!" Shoto said "that. That should be done in person" his voice breaking from the amount of sobbing that was done. On and off Shoto's phone vibrated in his hand more and more as the students all started messaging him back and forth. It was bringing a form of anger when all of a sudden the doors busted open and Toshi ran in out of breath "All might what are you-" Kakashi stated before being interrupted "she's alive!?" Toshi yelled. Their faces joined together with pure ecstasy as they ran out of U.A with such speed, getting to the hospital as quickly as they could. Yes, I was alive, by a mere chance of survival I was alive, as for Bakugo, there was still no trace of him.
