Me, Draco and Blaise made our way down many stairs, sending spells a the occasional person. We came down to the Entrance Hall and I immediately took action. I ran over to a girl who was being approached by Fenrir Greyback. I wasn't afraid to kill this guy, he deserved it for what he did to Remus and Bill.
"Avada Kedavra!" I shouted and the girl looked up at me. "Go." I told her and she ran into the castle. I looked over and saw Draco battling someone on Harry's side. I ran to his aid.
"Oi! He's on our side you numpty!" I yelled. He looked at me and started fighting someone else. I saw a death eater aim a spell at Draco, but I shielded it from him and send it back. I guess it was the killing curse, because he fell down dead.
"You have fought valiantly, but in fay, I do not wish this, every drop of magical blood spilled is a terrible waste. I therefore command my forces to retreat. In their absence, dispose of your dead with dignity. Harry Potter, I now speak directly to you. On this night, you have allowed your friends to die for you than face me yourself. There is no greater dishonor. Meet me in the Forbidden Forest and confront your fate. If you do not do this, I shall kill every last man, woman, and child who tries to conceal you from me."
My head hurt from his voice. I looked at Draco and the others. I noticed George on the ground. Then all of the Voldemort's army retreated, like he said. Everybody hurried inside after this. I walked over to Draco, noticing Blaise not there.
"Where's Blaise?" I asked.
"He went off somewhere else." I nodded and started walking again. I didn't want to go into the Great Hall just yet. I couldn't see the faces of the dead. It took a while for everyone to get set up for medical emergencies. Draco and I waited on the steps outside the Great Hall. I sighed and stood up.
"Will you come with me?" I asked and held out my hand.
"Of course." he replied. I walked into the hall, hand in hand with Draco, getting curious looks from people. I saw Molly crying in Arthur's shoulder. My heart beat faster and faster. My pace became faster and before I knew it I was running. I looked down and saw Fred on the ground. I looked around and saw George, who jumped from the ground and hugged me immediately. I couldn't stop the tears from running down my face.
I let go of George and bent down on my knees to look at Fred. I let out a loud cry and noticed Ron beside me hanging onto Fred. I grabbed Ron's hand and squeezed it while we cried together. I looked back up at George and hugged him again. "I'm so sorry George." I cried.
"What are you doing here boy?" Arthur asked looking at Draco. Some of the people in the hall turned their attention to him. Draco opened his mouth to speak, but I stepped in.
"He's with me. He's alright." I said taking Draco's hand.
"You're on our side?" George asked through his tears. Draco nodded.
"We're glad to have you." Molly wiped a tear away. I looked back at Draco and kissed his cheek, hugging him tightly.
"Marry me." he whispered in my ear. I pulled away and looked in his eyes, confused.
"I already told you I would." I said.
"No, marry me now. Let's say our vows and you'll become Mrs. Malfoy, right now." He said. I was still confused. "I want to be your husband before something might happen to one of us." he said. I understood what he was doing.
"Okay." I whispered. "Molly!" I raised my voice a little louder.
"Yes, Anyxus?" she said.
"We need someone to marry us." I said not looking away from Draco.
"You need, what?" she gave us her full attention.
"We need someone to marry us." I repeated.
"Right now?" she questioned. I nodded quickly looking at her.
"Right now." I stated. She looked around the room.
"Kingsley! Kingsley!" she chanted.
"Yes, Molly?" He asked.
"Kingsley?" I spoke up. "We need you to marry us. Now." I said.
"Umm, okay. Who will give you away?"
"Arthur?" I looked at him.
"Of course. Of course I'll give you away." he informed me. I smiled appreciatively at him. Kingsley got everyone in the Great Hall to participate. They were all for it, which was odd I suppose. I guess they just needed to take their mind off of things, a little happiness for the time being.
"Alright, this is going to be a short vow exchange, so let's get started." we laughed at Kingsley.
"Do you Draco Lucius Malfoy, take Anyxus Andromeda Thyme to be your lawfully wedded wife?" Kingsley spoke loudly. Draco didn't hesitate.
"Always." he smiled.
"Do you Anyxus Andromeda Thyme, take Draco Lucius Malfoy to be your lawfully wedded husband?"
"Always." I mimicked Draco and he chuckled softly.
"Then I pronounce you husband and wife, you may now kiss your bride Mr. Malfoy." Kingsley grinned.
Our lips met and a round of applause erupted through the hall. It was a short, but passionate kiss. Our wedding was not like I had dreamed of my wedding to be when I was younger, but it was all I needed. After our 'wedding' we took a while to relax.
I couldn't be in the hall with all of the people I loved, dead, so Draco took me outside. We stood by the ledge outside, listening to the breeze. He kissed my cheek softly and said, "I love you, Mrs. Malfoy."
"As do I, Mr. Malfoy." I pecked his lips. I heard shuffling and turned around to see Harry.
"Harry?" I scrunched my eyebrows together.
"Congrats, Nyx, Draco." Harry said and kept walking.
"Harry where are you going? Surely not the forest?" I questioned. He stopped in his tracks and didn't say anything.
"I have to go. There's a reason I can speak parsletounge. There's a reason I can hear the horcruxes. I think you know why." he stated. I blinked a couple of times and ran up to hug him.
"I love you Harry. Don't forget any of us." I whispered in his ear.
"I love you too, and I won't forget." he assured. I pulled away and watched as he walked through the rubble from the battle. Draco came over and hugged me tightly. I cried into his chest. This was it.
