She's Sick

We went to the nearest coffee shop, Starbucks to be specific, along with Ai and Xu Kai. Maybe it's a coincidence that he was there? The only reason he told me was he dropped by that house. At first, his words doesn't make any sense. But, there's no time thinking for that.

Im still horrified on what happened earlier,

"Here" Ai placed a bottle in the table, they were the one who ordered the drinks while I'm just sitting in the chair.

"Thanks" I shortly replied,

I grabbed the drink and put a straw in it, as I pull it closer to my mouth, I feel the ice inside of the bottle. My hand starts to shake.

"Girl, get a tissue"

Oh yeah, right...

I did as she said, what's even wrong with me? I know I'm a smart person but I can't figure out what just happened.

As I was drinking my drink, I saw...

I rushed out of the coffee as quickly as I can, and it's raining hard. But it was too late, the car already left.

Just a few seconds, Ai and Xu Kai came with an umbrella.

"Yah, what's wrong with you? It's raining!" Xu Kai shouted,

When we reach home, I immediately go to my room.

Then, I dialed the number of the investigator I hired to find my brother.

"Hello?"

( Hello Ma'am? )

"Do you have any updates?"

( Still none, but I'm working on it )

"Okay, I just called to check"

Then I ended the call,

I knew it, I hired a useless investigator. I already saw my brother and he still have no leads? This is so stressful.

When I realized I'm all wet because of the rain, I took a bath and changed my clothes.

I went to my bed, and just a minutes later, I fell asleep.

Next Morning >>>

I woke up, my head hurts. I walked out my room to eat breakfast,

"You're sick?" Xu Kai asked, he is also in the counter of the kitchen.

"Me? No, I'm not"

He walked closer and placed his hand in my forehead,

"You're hot, just stay in your room. The maids will just serve you the food" He said,

"But I—" He cut me off

"Just go to your room, don't be so stubborn"

What's even the point of arguing?

I didn't talk back and just stayed in my room.

Just minutes later, Xu Kai entered my room holding a tray of food.

"You said the maids will—" He cuts me off again,

"They're all cleaning the house" He said,

He placed the food in my nightstand, along with a medicine.

"You can't go to school today, just stay here"

"What? I can go, I'm perfect fine" I said,

"What if you infect other students?"

"Ugh...fine"

"I'll just come home later at lunch time, to check on you"

"Mhm..."

He nodded and left my room,

Ugh...what am I supposed to do? Stay here the rest of the day?
