Chapter-2

3rd person pov:

Those words echoed through everyone's minds after they had realized that. They looked at each other shaking. "w-what do you mean we're lost?! I thought you knew where the town was" yelled Vylad. "W-we must have jumped off too late or too early..." said Garroth weakly. "So, you're telling me we traveled on a train which took multiple hours, Vylad gave up his necklace, and for what! to be stranded in the middle of nowhere for your mysterious husband whom we haven't even met!"

"mate"

"Whatever!" said Zane throwing his hands up in the air

everyone looked down. Aphmau and Garroth felt especially guilty for bringing them along with this mess. Dante spoke up seeing the mood. "Well, maybe we should venture into the woods! maybe we'll find some local werewolf who knows the way back to the town?" said Dante in a hopeful tone. "Well, we can't just stand out here in the open...it seems like our best bet for now," aphmau said her voice trailing off as she spoke. Zane grunted and just moved past all of them. Garroth got pissed at that. "You know I could have gone by myself! never asked you to come along" 

"OH REALLY"

"I'm just saying that I could have gone by myself if I knew that you were going to throw a tantrum over it! You were the one who insisted on coming along to see my husband.

"You know what! maybe you're right! why should I sacrifice myself to meet some human dog!"

"THAT'S IT SHUT IT BOTH OF YOU!" yelled Aphmau. "I don't think we've realized this, but I am a pregnant woman whose husband is at war with another pack! and so help me if we arrive late all because of your bickering you'll be my child's father!" she screamed. Everyone suddenly went silent. "THAT'S WHAT I THOUGHT," she said walking past all of them in a rage. The brothers looked at each other and just followed her silently. They had been walking for about 10-15 minutes now, no one breaking the silence but growing more worrisome as time passed on. Suddenly they heard something move. A black shadow was zipping past them in all directions as if they were surrounded by a group of people. "Who's there?" Zane asked. They only received a giggle in response. They came together and Garroth pulled out his sword just in case. When the figure suddenly jumped on him from a tree and stole his sword. "Who are you! show yourself" said Vylad. They once more just got a giggle. "Are you just going to stand there and giggle all day or what?" asked Zane with a stern tone. The figure became quiet and stood up straight. "My Irene, are you boring...bet no one likes to have you around buzzkill..." They responded. The voice sounded feminine. They were surprised at the voice and Zane was offended at the comment. "Well? what are you doing in this territory...this isn't your side of the woods...is it now?" The voice asked. "What do you mean 'your side of the woods'" "I mean your were-friends here are trespassing on territory" They responded a bit annoyed. They all stood in a daze. "Wait does that mean you know where the werewolf territory is?!" Aphmau asked hurriedly. "Yes, of course, I-" she cut herself off. The five stood there with confused faces as to why. "Wait a minute..." They came closer to them sniffing the two werewolves. "You two aren't werewolves..." "Yes, we are" Garroth responded. "You aren't real werewolves" they responded. "You were changed...you were human before...," they said. They all stood with mouths agape wondering how they could have possibly known this. "W-what how do you know all of this" Dante asked worried. "Well, your friends here just so happen to have the scent of both a werewolf and a human meaning that they were transformed during the process" They simply said. "What I don't get is...how come you're out here? you both are already transformed werewolves...and the next train kidnapping isn't happening for another few years...since they just did one a few months back...unless..." They paused. "There is a battle for control with the werewolves isn't there" they asked. "Y-yes...how do you know" Garroth asked. "Oh, please we've known for months...it was bound to happen and-, wait shouldn't you be with your mates? I mean the migraine is absolutely killing blondie here" they said pointing to him. "And seeing how the Raveonette is still walking without having a headache means that there must be some huge hormonal disbalance meaning...your pregnant" they said. "H-how do you know all of this!" asked Aphmau. "Oh, that is not of your worry". "Well can you at least tell us of how you know about the war! it's our right" Garroth pleaded. The figure stood silent and thought for a moment. "Okay...well I've known for months that the attack was about to happen...and that grey werewolf seemed pretty powerful, what a shame...i heard that the current alpha was actually decent..." They spoke. "Wait you've known for months how?!" asked Aph. "Simple those wolves howl a lot you know...hard to sleep at night...also these very trees have ears and love to talk, it was bound to happen and from what I heard that 'Ayan' was it? seemed pretty vengeful...this fight is going to be interesting to watch..." They responded. "Wait do you mean Ein...also if you knew why wouldn't you tell us?!" Garroth asked. "Cuz this isn't my fight...I'm not fighting some crazy werewolf...besides you all don't even know what i am..." They said ominously. "W-what..." Vylad asked. "Now I'm bored...and I know I could get a lot for a werewolf and a few human...time to sleep night-night" they said with a sing-songy voice. Everyone was confused until they all became dizzy, and the world became black
