It had been 4 years since Phosphophyllite's operation. it was nearing the end of winter and amber had made a habbit of waking up earlier than most gems to collect more materials for Padparadscha.
But that wasnt the only reason why she did this, she had a little experiment going on. Amber was trying to create a new gem by molding the pecies of a mostly formed gem with more tiny incomplete pieces.
"Oh Amber you're up early again" said a famliar gem. Amber turned her head to see the complete winter team comprised of five gems. Pearl age 4,528, Angelite age 8,922,Chalcedony age 3,674,Antarcticite age 1,574,and Cairngorm age 1,247. Amber remeberd that Antarc and Cairn had recently partnerd up together for winter duty.
Amber was glad to see that Caringorm was doing better since the incident with phos.
"You collecting more parts for Padparadscha?" Asked pearl in her usal sassy tone."Yep just seeing if i can help rutile wake Padparadscha wake up". Amber quickly made her way to beach of Beginnings carefully makng her way through the melting snow. After 45 mintues of walking she arrived to the famliar beach. Amber quickly made her way to cliff and searched through the sand.
It only took a few mintues before amber found her perfect specimen,A mostly formed red gem.It had a head and torso then amber saw that the gem only had an one arm and no legs. with the incomplete gems left side of their abdomen ending in a sharp slant.
Amber picked the gem up and placed it in a bowl. She took a quick look over to the ice floes seeing the winter team breaking away anything that has remained of the ice floes. "Good that will buy me a few hours"
The orange gem hastily made her way back to the school. Nearly slipping a few times on the snow. Amber slammed the bowl on the table and pulled a hammer followed by a chizel. Amber found it quite easy to make the gem look smooth and symmetrical,now she had only one thing left to do which was find some spare parts. She quickly dashed her way to her room had grabbed a large box from under her bed which she struggled to carry.
Amber set the box next to the gem. "Okay just need to find out what kind of gem you are". Amber grabbed Rutile's diary and quickly flipped through the pages "fixing gems no,Padparadschas interests Absolutely not,powders no". Ambers eye lit up as she found what she was looking for. "Aha i found it chapter 35 types of gems and minerals".
Amber frantically read the chapters pages and listed every type of red gem she could find. "Okay now to test Hardness" she quickly picked up one if the larger hammers and firmly tapped it on the gems exterior. She continued tapping until she was came uo with a result.

Amber quickly wrote down the information she could in her own diady along with a accompanying skecth of the newly formed Pyrope. Amber carefully pulled out 4 peices of various incomplete gems from the box.
"So i have Spessartine,Gahnospinel,Blue Agate,and red Coral peices in my collection this should be enough I hope".
3 hours later
Amber had finally made the four pieces of gem usable for Pyrope. The Spessartine would be her new arm, the Gahnospinel woulf be the left leg whilst the Blue Agate would be the right leg and the last peice of red coral would complete Pyrope's abdomen.
Amber quicly but carefully glued everything together and made sure it was at the right place and angle. "Okay operation complete" said amber with a twinge of excitement. With that the joyful gem waited for any sign of of movement. To Amber's suprise the gem seemingly sprung to life
"THE OPERATION WAS A SUCCESS!!!" yelped amber only to her the footsteps of Sensei behind her. "Who gave you permission to do this".
Ambers eyes widend with fear "this might me the end for me".
