"No,no,no,no!"Canary shrieked over pattering downpour.
Poor visibility limited what he could see but from what there was he could hardly make out Skyraids energon freckled body laying in some muddy rubble.
He darted over to the battered figure,crouching over him.
"Sky,sky please! We have to leave! You cant just-"
Canary began,attempting to lift up the larger bot but failing ultimately.
"Skyraid!"
Canary sat there for a moment,hoping,waiting for him to just get up and say he was ok.
"Sky?"
The small yellow jets wings dropped and his breathing was heavy,he prayed that the bots who shot Skyraid from the sky didnt track where they landed.
'Can I call Cyberstrike and livewire...? Would they even help me?'
Canary clicked open a panel on his arm and tapped in some digits. The screen buffered a while until a staticy figure appeared.
"Livewire,somebody sniped Skyraid out of the sky,they were using a tracker of some sort,hes..."
"Hes not moving,I need you and cyber here right now!"
The bot on the other side simply nodded and hung up,leaving canary in the pounding downpour with Skyraid.
The blue and yellow mech moved so he was sitting closer to Skyraid,it appeared the only thing he could do was wait.
"Visor down." Canary tried to command his visor but it whirred in objection.
Canary dreaded his visor though it was too expensive for him to get its glitch repaired. "Hng...little bird.."
The body behind Canary struggled and now Skyraid was laying on his side,energon stained his shoulder and wing.
"Skyraid,skyraid dont move too much,your wings..." Canary began.
The large seeker coughed,wincing before speaking up again.
"I've had worse...they didnt hurt you did they?" He asked,showing concern for his conjux.
"No,no that's not important sky." Canary said,trying to pry up his visor but being unsuccessful.
"I dont care if I die,I just want you to be safe..."Skyraid said over the rain,wincing again.
Canary clenched his fist,he never wanted to hear those words from sucha mech.
"Shut up. Your not going to die."Canary choked,tears rolling down his face.
He could tell his visor and optics were messing up wildly,he couldnt care anymore at this point.
"...are you sure your ok...?" Skyraid asked oncemore,pressing a shoulder to the ground and slowly propping himself up.
Canary didnt respond,he held his breath,lips quivering momentarily.
"No." He said,wrapping his arms around Skyraids large frame and crying.
Skyraids arm nearly buckled under him and he gently pulled the smaller jet close to him.
"Dont leave me sky. I need you...I love you."Canary said through a faltered voice.
