The Starter

Twenty percent of the world's population are born quirkless, some times, I wish I was too, actually maybe not, I see how the quirkless are treated I feel for them, anyway that's enough about society...
My name is izuku midoriya and this is how I became the world's best chef and accidentally a hero.

Izuku midoriya was born  to the lovely couple of inko and hisashi midoriya, you'd think it was on purpose that inko married someone with the Japanese word for green in their name. Inko midoriya had a weak attraction quirk while hisashi had the ability to summon kitchen supplies
Combine the two, throw in a gene mutation, and you get the world's best chef.

Fast forward a couple years and you have me!
Yes it's me izuku midoriya in the flesh
And no im not gonna narrate the whole story just up until the present.

The midoriya household 15/6/21XX :

Midoriya woke up buzzing with excitement, but how could he not, he was gonna get his long awaited quirk today. Bouncing with the excitement of the world little izuku walks, skips ,
To his parents bedroom, wondering if he should really wakes his parents up and weighing out the consequences of th action in his small mind, he decides to wake them up by crawling on top of them

Two loud yawns were heard in quick succession.

"good morning zuku"

"good morning chef izuku"

A tiny fit of giggles was heard at the latter's good morning call

"mom!, dad!, I'm gonna get my quirk today".

"That you are, alright pipsqueek, go do your morning routine and join us in the kitchen for pancakes".

And izuku did not need to be told twice, jogging to the bathroom he brushes his teeth and slightly fixes up his hair, he wonders if he should get changed and puts on his favourite allmight hoodie and black pants.

Joining his parents downstairs and awkwardly sitting while they sang the happy birthday song he scarfed down his pancakes and ran to the car.

"quirk time, quirk time, what time is it?"
"its quirk time!".

Its quirk time was sang the whole way to the quirk doctors office.

Dr. Tsubasa was a slightly off putting man, but the midoriya's could put that aside for one day. After running what seemed like a billion test, he came back with the results.

" I'll start this of my saying I can only give educated guesses towards izuku quirk and you should come back if his quirk deviates to far from my predictions"

The parents nod their heads in agreement

"from the tests I have taken from midoriya it seems he will manifest a combination of both of your quirks"

A small celebratory  fist goes up in the air.

"izukus quirk will allow him to summon kitchen appliances and ingredients while also having telekinetic control of those items, and a gene mutation that probably came from one of your far relatives will allow him to rate food out of one hundred percent whenever he eats "

After running a few more tests the docter allowed to family to leaving telling them the quirk would come in, in the next few weeks or days
,
The giddy smiles could me seen on each of the midoriya's faces for the rest of the day, even when to bakugos came over and izuku explained his quirk to bakugo who pretended not to be jealous.

"say deku, you do plan to become a hero with me right?"

"sorry kachann but I'm gonna become a great cheff like my dad, I think quirk is suited for it aswell"

If I said bakugo couldn't be seen pouting for the rest of the day, that would be a lie but hopefully he gets used to the Idea later.

The next week rolled around and izuku was back to school, after explaining his quirk to his fellow classmates his popularity had a spike, but bakugo mellowed it out with a loud statement of

"hey!, I'm deku's best freind and we don't need any of you extras loitering around us, so beat it!"

Izuku may be innocent but he definanlty teased bakugo about that speach for the next week, and probably will for years to come

"but we're  best freinds right kachann"
Is nearly the catch phrase of izuku midoriya.

5 years later

Izuku midoriya can be seen walking down the street muttering about how to elevate the flavour of his cookies so he can reach atleast sixty five percent
(for context seventy percent is what gordan ramseys cooking would taste like, in fact as the kind author I am ill throw in a scale)

1-10% - bad food
11-20% edible but you would not choose to eat it
21%-30% average child making their mom a mother's day cake
31_40% normal mothers cooking
41-50% tastes better than normal cooking, 4 star restaurant level
50-60% 5 star restaurant
61-70% gordan ramsey
71-80% probably the best version of that food
81-90% defiantly the best version of that food. ever.
91-100% enlightenment.

Now as you can see izuku cooking right now is at about forty eight percent, which is not bad but he wants to reach gordan ramseys level before he opens his own restaurant which Is his dream.

A hand lands on his back and izuku is startled out of his thoughts
"oh its just a lost pomeranian.." he sighed

Another thwak to the back of his head made him slightly regret his words,but the reaction was kinda worth it.

"Don't call me that, nerd"

"then don't hit me, that's not very heroic is it kachann?" izkuk smirked to himself.

"Speak for yourself deku"

"I'm not gonna be a hero so I don't think so"

That's for now deku, I'll convince you to be a hero just you wai-

Bakugos inner monologue was cut off when a a pretty tasty and spicy cookie was shoved into his mouth

"What do you think kachann, I made these especially for you, they're at like 47% right now," he huffed "they were at 50% when they were still warm, what a shame"

The cookie was really good but bakugo had to play it cool

"Those aren't half bad nerd, gimme another one so I can inspect them better"

Now izuku may be smart but he's also really dense some times, so with a cheery "okay!" he hands bakugo some neatly wrapped cookies.

"Thanks nerd, now cmon we'll be late for school" he barked.

They both picked up their pace as they neared the school gates.
