Story Begins Here! :

Bakugou had been good all week and like Todoroki promised, he was taking the explosive little for a day out in the town. There was a lot of things to do and places to go so he knew the little would be entertained for a good few hours at least. Bakugou had stayed up most of the night regressed because he was super excited for their trip. This was going to be the best day ever.

Todoroki was awoken at 9 am to Bakugou crawling and jumping all over his bed. "Daddy! Daddy!" He whisper-yelled. Todoroki rubbed his eyes and softly grunted, he wasn't the most energetic person especially in the morning. "Hi buddy..." His voice trailed off and his eyes closed once more and his lips curved into a soft smile. Bakugou whined softly, "Daddy, remember what you promised me!!" It took Todoroki a minute to realise why Bakugou was so hyper, his eyes shot open. "Of course, yes. Don't worry buddy, it's still happening!" Todoroki reassured the little. He was tired and didn't want an explosive rage-filled outburst from the little.

Bakugou jumped off the bed and ran to his room to get ready for the awesome day ahead. Todoroki barely pulled himself out of his bed and trudged to his bathroom to do all the necessary things to start his day. He then went to check on Bakugou to make sure he hadn't forgotten to do anything. "Buddy, have you brushed your teeth and washed your face?" Todoroki asked Bakugou. "Yeah I did!" Bakugou said flashing a pearly white smile. "Good job, little man!" Todoroki praised the little with a ruffle of his hair. "Les goo!!" Bakugou whisper-yelled once more. "Yeah, let's go now!" Todoroki smiled.

They arrived at the mall at around 9:30 am, most of the trip was Bakugou running super fast and Todoroki was chasing after him. Todoroki lightly scolded Bakugou when they got there earning a meek "sowwy" out of the regressed teen. Todoroki sighed, he didn't like running at all so he suggested that the pair sat down to regain some of their lost energy. Bakugou agreed despite the fact he wasn't done running about but he knew he'd get a chance to run about later. Since Bakugou found sitting still to be boring, he began to rock backwards and forwards gently. This motion seemed to make him calmer. He chewed on his nails to soothe his boredom further. Todoroki noticed this and asked him, "Are you bored, little one?" Bakugou sulked slightly, "Yeaaah." Todoroki handed him his chew toy but Bakugou refused it. Todoroki tilted his head in confusion, "Why not?" Bakugou lowered his voice, "Cus there's people 'round us!" Todoroki nodded and pulled out a tangle instead, "This should keep your hands busy then baby." Bakugou accepted the Tangle with no hesitation and smiled widely whilst making all the shapes.

A young girl noticed Bakugou's Tangle and ran over to Bakugou to ask about it, hoping to play with it a little bit. "Hey, what's that?" the girl asked. Bakugou didn't hear her because he was so focused on the Tangle. Todoroki answered for him, "That is a Tangle, it helps him with his boredom and stress." The girl lit up and she asked Todoroki, "Can I play with it? Please?" Todoroki shrugged, "You have to ask him." The girl asked Bakugou, "Can I play with your Tangle for a little bit, please?" Bakugou looked up at her, finally acknowledging what she said, "No, sorry." He went back to focusing on the Tangle right after. The girl got upset and complained to Todoroki, "He won't share with me!" Todoroki simply shrugged, "He doesn't have to if he doesn't want to. Sorry, kid." The girl stamped her foot, demanding at Todoroki, "Make him share!" Todoroki crossed his arms, "No." The girl decided to snatch Bakugou's Tangle from him to play with it. Bakugou was about to scream at the girl but Todoroki stopped him. Todoroki bent down to the girl and spoke sternly to her, "That wasn't very nice now, was it?" The girl stuck her tongue out at Todoroki, "He was being a meanie pants!" Todoroki sighed, trying to remain calm, "That doesn't mean you had to take it. You could always ask your parents for one. He's really upset right now, you should apologise to him for taking it." The girl looked over at Bakugou who had his knees up to his chest and his head down. Her face softened and her once happy grin turned into a regretful frown. She looked at the Tangle and back at Bakugou. The girl then looked to Todoroki for some encouragement and he nodded at her. She walked over to Bakugou and handed the Tangle back to him and apologised with a bow, "I'm sorry I took your Tangle after you said no. I didn't think about how much it meant to you." He accepted it back and put his thumbs up to signal that he accepted her apology.

She walked back over to Todoroki and asked him, "What does the thumbs up mean? He didn't say anything, does he talk?" Todoroki looked over at Bakugou playing with the Tangle, then back at the girl, "Some people get so upset that they go completely silent, he wanted to shout but he didn't so he went silent. The thumbs up means that he accepted your apology. Usually, he talks a lot but he finds crowded places to be scary sometimes so he doesn't talk as much." The girl looked at the floor trying to process the information that she had just been told. Todoroki could tell that she didn't really get it so he gave her an example, "Okay, imagine being the new kid at school with people you don't know all staring at you. That's super scary, isn't it?" She nodded. "Well, some people feel like that in public places even if they aren't actually being stared at. For example, my friend over there, he doesn't like being around too many people. It makes him very upset and scared but not all the time. Sometimes it makes him angry and by sometimes, I mean most of the time," Todoroki told her with a smile. A light bulb lit up in the girl's mind, "Is it that social anxiety thing my sister talks about? My big sister has that, she barely talks outside of the house." Todoroki shook his head, "It is a bit like that, but with my friend it's a lot more than that -"

Suddenly a woman with a teenage girl came running up to Todoroki, "Oh my goodness, I am so sorry for my daughter bothering you!" Todoroki looked up at the woman, "It's fine miss, really. Although, you do need to teach your daughter not to take things from others when they've told her no. She took my friend's Tangle despite the fact he said no. However she did give it back after I asked her to." She looked down at her daughter, very ashamed, "What have I told you about taking other people's things, Misha?!" Misha looked down apologetically, "You said not to but I already apologised!" The woman looked at Todoroki and asked, "Is she lying? Did she actually apologise?" Todoroki nodded, "She apologised with very little encouragement." The woman sighed once more, "Either way, thank you for looking after my daughter, young man." Todoroki smiled slightly, "It's fine, really." The woman bowed and quickly walked away, seemingly embarrassed by her daughter's actions.

Todoroki sat back down with Bakugou who was still absorbed by his Tangle. He nudged Bakugou's arm gently so as not to startle him, "Are we going to go shopping now, honey?"Bakugou slowly nodded with a low hum. "Okay then, let's go!" Todoroki encouraged the regressed boy. Todoroki stood up and Bakugou stood up with him. They started walking and when they passed by the toy store, Bakugou bolted inside. Todoroki exhaled, both in relief that Bakugou was happy again and in dread because he would be close to unable to catch him. They would continue to have fun until they went home at 6pm to eat dinner and get ready for bed.
