I've always wondered about the multiverse theory
If it is true i wonder if we're sitting around the bonfire with a few cold ones
or if we're on the road to a concert I've been dying to go to.
I wonder if in another universe things turned out differently
That you never passed away, that you still remained by my side.
I wonder if you're proud of who I am today.
I know that somewhere in another life we'll meet again
That somewhere in the afterlife you wait for me to guide my way
And I can't wait to tell you about all the amazing things I've done.
Somewhere, someday I will see you again
Whether it be something small like a song you used to listen to
Or the scent of your cologne
I hope that someday I'll face the memory of you
Without it shattering me to pieces
