(Chapter I) A Day at Javacat Cafe

<For context, Bones and Pluto own a cafe that sells drinks and potions. This cafe, Javacat Cafe, is built into the side of Pluto's mountain, Clyde mountain. The cafe is known for the cats that lay around the cafe. Also, this is supposed to be a little platonic fluff :)>

Pluto rushed across the wooden floor, attending to the guests at the table. Although Javacat Cafe was not well-known, today was an especially busy day. The usually quiet cafe was now bustling with customers. The limited staff were having a hard time dealing with everyone. Luckily, the customers were patient and didn't mind the wait. Occasionally, the pair of attendants saw someone they recognized such as Sirius, Sam, or Venus.

Because of the lack of employees, they hardly got any breaks. The cafe had long yet uneventful hours, so they were forced to close early. They still had cleanup to go through after all. While Pluto and Bones were tired, they still remained their best. Making smart and sarcastic remarks, they seemed no different from their normal selves.

They carried on into the night, making sure the cafe was as spotless as ever. Fortunately for Pluto, the cafe was built into the side of Clyde Mountain so they didn't have to travel far. Bones, on the other hand, lived on the farther side of town. Despite not appearing so, they were both tired. Not bothering to travel so far, Bones decided to stay with Pluto for the night.

As they climbed the path up the mountain, the pair grew wearier and wearier. By the time they reached the top, they were exhausted. They sat at the edge of Pluto's bed, uninterested in speaking. While enjoying the comfortable silence, Pluto felt Bones's body slump against theirs. He seemed to have fallen asleep. Pluto smiled and rested their head upon the other's. They closed their eyes and fell into the relaxing sensation of slumber, accompanied by their one and only friend.
