It was Annabeth's birthday and Percy was supposed to have meet her on the beach exactly 28 minutes and 12 seconds ago. Annabeth looked down at her watch. another minute gone by, she thought then Percy came jogging over the hill carrying a small gray jewelry box. " Sorry I'm late!" Percy said, with a grin plastered on his face. " It had to do with your gift." he held up the box.
" Did you almost forget to buy me one seaweed Brain?" Annabeth scolded with a grin. Percy just smile and handed her the box. Inside was a beautiful, imperial gold, necklace chain. Annabeth gasped, " Percy I, I love it," she hugged him, "it's wonderful!"
" Wait," Percy said I gets better, "it's useful too," he whispered as he gently touch the chain to Annabeth's laptop. as soon as the chain touched it began to shrink until it became a tiny, glowing pendent on the chain. Percy hung it around Annabeth's neck. " Happy 18th birthday Wise girl, he whispered to her."
