CHEERLEADER SERIES - TRACY

PROLOGUE

The night is young and the rain has started to rough up. 

He's drenched after running against the rain just to seek a place where they could stay for the night. 

Without second thoughts, he took his shirt off and found a can of beer inside the mini fridge. They found refuge in a small hostel along the road. 

Kung hindi lang sila nasiraan, he would have chosen a much more appropriate place than this. Especially that he is with her. 

He grabbed another can of beer and handed it to her. 

She was standing right beside the door, with her arms crossed against her chest. 

"You can take your clothes off you know. There's a towel right there in the bed."

Her eyes flew off to the queen sized bed in the middle of what seemed like a square foot of a room. 

Dahan-dahan niyang inilapag ang beer sa night stand at  kinuha ang towel na nasa kama. Pinahiran ang sariling basang-basa din sa ulan. 

She slowly walked into the comfort room and soon enough, he heard the sound of the shower. 

He closed his eyes and leaned his head against the chair's back rest. This woman has been making him crazy for the past few days now. 

Head cheerleader Tracy is with him inside the most inconvenient place he could ever think of. 

They were always seen bickering at each other, but something about what happened today made him decide to rescue her. 

To be her knight in shining armor. 

He took another sip of the beer and heard the water stop. 

She stepped out of the shower and it took him his entire sanity to stop from standing up and do what he wanted to do with her mula pa kaninang nababasa sila sa ulan. 

Her feet was struggling to feel comfortable with the cheap slippers provided by the hostel. As his eyes travelled from her feet to her legs, hindi niya napigilan ang sariling tahimik na mapaungol. 

"This is going to be a long night" he whispered. His weakness has always been women's thighs. And looking at her right now just made him pray to all the Gods of Olympus. 

She only had a tiny towel wrapped around her body. She must have hang her clothes inside the shower. Water is still dripping from her head to her feet. She's trying to fix her drenched hair as she tugged the blanket and got inside the pocket it created. 

She grabbed the can of beer from the side and opened it. She took a sip while her back is leaning against the head board. 

Everything she's doing is turning him on and soon enough, alam niyang mahahalata nito yun. 

He slowly stood up and walked towards the bed. 

She looked up at his towering 6'2 height, looking frightened. 

For the second time today, he saw fear in those beautiful eyes. 

He stood in front of her, eyes glaring passionately.

"I can stay here or I can go somewhere else. What do you want?"

"Why are you asking me that?"

"Because right now, you look scared as hell. And I don't like seeing girls who are scared of me."

Hindi siya umimik.

He sighed as he saw her trembling hands wrapped around the can of beer.

He turned around and grabbed his shirt. Baka my bakante nang silid. There's no harm in trying.

Just as when he is about to open the door, her soft voice started to fill the room.

"Stay. I don't want to be alone in here."

He actually thought he would never hear her say anything.

"Alright." muli siyang humarap at naupo sa maliit na sofa'ng inuupuan kanina. He grabbed the beer again and readied himself to sleep.

His pants are still wet but he couldn't take it off in front of her 

So he'll have sleep in it.

"There's still space here. Mahihirapan kang makatulog diyan."

He stood straight up and looked at her. Namumula na ang mga pisngi niya. Looking like a flirty betty boop.

He is tempted to take her offer. But as long as he can still take it, he'll stay as far away as he can from her. Or else, they might both regret what will happen.

"Don't say no. Please."

"You should be careful with what you ask for."

"I know. But I'd rather that you sleep comfortably. You need your strength tomorrow."

I might need all that strength tonight, he thought.

"Well, if you insist."

He slid right into the other side of the bed and turned his back from her. Iisang can lang ng beer ang ininom niya. Ngunit bakit parang umiinit na ang buong katawan niya?

Right at this moment, he could hear even the slightest gulp she does with the beer she's drinking.

He's never been mad about a woman.

But she's different.

She's like a whirlwind waiting to be set off. Coz if not, he will be its victim.
