*The facility*

It was early morning and the gems decided to take Steven through the warp on a mission to intercept corrupted gems in and old abandoned forest

Grunts and screams could be heard as deep in the forest the battle raged on

"Amethyst get them!"garnet yelled out to her purple companion As she pulled out another whip front the gem in her chest

"I'm on it!come here you !" She quickly got to work wrapping up one of the last corrupted
gems

"Distracted! now Steven" pearl called out from her hiding place in the top of a tree

"Over here look at me good old human boy!"Steven flailed his arms back and for calling out to the corrupted gem,the creature in cuestión only responded with grunts and snarls as it charged full speed

Pearl quickly took aim and Llamed her spear straight at the back of the rabid   gem,it then poofing and landing next to Steven's feet

"Thats how you do it" garnet stated completely calm as she bent down and picked up the gem and then putting in a bubble

"Yeah! Did you see how I was catching them back and forth I was all like!uwah!push!pow!"
Amethysts cheered as she made punching noises in the air

Steven could only giggle at her antics

"Hmm it certainly seems that we finished faster than expected but if where done here then we must return to the temple" pearl stated crossing her arms

"Right!"

"Steven please go get your back pack from the bushes,  you wouldn't want to leave it behind"
The tall gem spoke glancing down at the boy

"*gasp* how could I forget! Wait right here I'll be right back"and with that he dashed into the woods

Humming a little tune as he walked back to a smal shrub of berries,he pushed some leves aside and grabbing on to his pack

"There you are!come on I need to get back to the gems"

As he got up from crouching in the ground a weird scent entered his nose,he sniffed the air trying to identify the smell only to be met with nothing

He followed the smell walking along the forest path a little more until he was in front of a large old gem building

Covered by overgrown plant life and moss among other things,he could see how it looks like the place was lost it's color by time,some cables where pocking out of unknown panels as they gave slight shocks of electricity here and there,some other loose cables giving of a weird fizzy noise (presumably where the smell was coming from)

Suddenly loud creaking noises sounded from inside with a loud bang  making him run the other way screaming

-with the gems-

"GGUUUUYS" Steven came dashing in the the clearing where the gems where

There where sticks and leaves stuck in his hair from all the running ,and he sounded out of breath

"Ifoundthisrellyoldgemplaceanditlooksallrundownandithinkweneedtogoandcheckitout!"he spoke so fast he was panting at the end of his sentence

The gems just glanced at him for a moment trying to process what he just said

"Woeh dude one word at a time"Amethyst said trying to calm him down

"I found and old gem building and it's making weird noises"

Pearl let out a gasp placing her hand on her mouth as she glanced at garnet,garnet in response gave pearl a knowing look before directing her atención back to Steven
