It took only a few moments to unpack the car for the night. We stayed in an inexpensive hotel with a single queen bed in our room. Anna had instantly collapsed on the mattress abruptly after I had stepped back out of the room. After showering, I soon joined her in dreamland.
My phone alarm jolts me awake. I glance at the screen and note that it's 9 am. Anastasia protests and asks me to give us ten more minutes, so I press snooze. I slide out of bed to get dressed and brush my teeth. 5-minutes later, I'm ready to head outside and grab a bite of breakfast for the two of us.
All I hear is static at the drive-thru speaker. After a mere moment's hesitation, I drive away from McDonald's and back onto the highway. I notice a burger king sign after a mile; I pull into the parking lot so I wouldn't deal with the same problem. After ordering two large meals, I head back to the car. I sip on my milkshake before turning the ignition.
I struggle to swipe my keycard on the lock to the hotel room. After realizing I could set the bags of food down, I finally got the door to open. Anna sings while showering as I set the meals on the desk. I load our things after Anastasia finishes dressing up. We devour our burgers in a mere three minutes. Anna belches loudly after finishing her milkshake.
Anna drives us north along Interstate 25 towards Cheyenne, Wyoming. After a few sips, I place a can of Monster between us so Anastasia could have some. She swiftly yanks the drink and takes a massive swig of it. I giggle at the startling behavior. I relax and fall asleep as my girlfriend drives me to my new residence.
