Naina entered in the mess while wiping off sweat from her face with a small white towel. She was in jogging clothes. She sees Suriji busy with his job and comes to him.
"Good morning Suriji..." She greets him.
Suriji gets happy seeing Naina.
"Good morning putaarji.." he greets her back.
"Suriji..jaldi se ek black coffee de dijiye.."
"Bas 2 mint puttar..." he says and tells an orderly to prepare it.
She looks around and becomes elated to see the new look of the mess.
"Sach me mess bahut accha lag rha ab... students ki apni baatein choices hoti hai teachers ki apni...ye sitting me thoda sa gap aur dividation accha initiative hai..."
"vo to hai...changa lagda hai aise...idea Captain Chauhan ka tha..."
"I could have guessed it... Abhimanyu Sir ka vision humesha sabse alag rha hai...he is serving best as a vice principal..."
"Han...ayye gal to tune shi kahi..mai teri coffee le ke ana"
Suriji came back to her with coffee.
"Aeyy lo Naina puttar...black coffee..."
Suriji extend the mug of coffee towards Naina.
"Thank you Suriji...have a nice day" she says while taking the cup.
"You too puttar ji.." he says patting her head.
She started moving towards the dining area of faculty to sit. Naina was walking while looking at the coffee mug in her hand. Suddenly someone collided with her and the coffee mug fell down.
Naina looks up to have a look of the person. It's was Captain Randheer.
"Shit... I am so sorry....so sorry...
"It's...it's okay... it was my fault as well...mai bhi samne nhi dekh rhi thi."
"Sir ji ki hoya..."
Suriji came there hurriedly. He saw the broken cup and coffee spilled on the floor.
"Oho....aap dono ko lagi to nhi kahin..." Suriji asks out of concern.
"Nhi...mai thk hoon.. and..inpe bhi nhi giri hai shayd.." Naina assures him.
Capt. Randheer nods at him agreeing to Naina's words.
Suriji calls an orderly and orders him to clean the floor.
Naina was espying him. Who is he. He seems new here. May he is newly involved in the faculty here.
Nearing herself little close beside Suriji...
"Suriji...yeh kon hain?.."
"Aree puttar ye Captain Randheer Gill hain... cadets ko comunication and strategy padhate hain.." Suriji says introducing Captain to her.
The mention of the last words had made her think about him. It's was his subject which he used to teach them. He was so perfect in it.
"Aur Sirji...yeh Naina hai... former student of KMA..badi hosiyar hai..." Suriji says showing her.
"Naina... Naina Singh Ahluwalia... right?..."
He says like guessing it, spotting her carefully.
Him telling her full name obtained her attention and she pondered how he knows that.
"yes..." she answers.
He smiles and extend hands towards her "Nice to meet you Naina..."
She eyed his hand then him and took her hand forward and shaked hands with him...
