Chapter 4

So when a famous YouTuber says 'he'll talk to you soon'...he's lying. It's been two months since that night when Cry told me he'd 'talk to me soon'. This only enhanced the belief that he didn't like me. I needed to investigate. I was not about to ask him directly of course so I dedicated the evening to watching his Beyond: Two Souls play through. After half of the series I called it quits. I closed my laptop and flopped back onto my bed.
"He doesn't seem like a jackass" I mumbled to myself. That's when I gave in. I opened my laptop and clicked on Skype. I nervously scrolled to 'Cryaotic' and looked at the poker face mask on his icon. I eyed the green circle right next to it. He's online....I checked my calendar, Saturday, April 25, 11:35 pm. He was online for stream...of course. I quickly minimized Skype and logged on to Twitch. I was greeted by the familiar sound of Cry's maniacal laughter. I couldn't help but smile to myself, his laugh was nothing less than amazing. Not in a it's cute way, in a he's crazy way. I fell asleep halfway through the stream even though it was phenomenal.

I woke up hours later from a dinging coming from my laptop. I looked at the screen hosting a now over stream. I saw a notification coming from Skype. Sleepily I clicked on it.
Cryaotic: hey kiddo
CheshireSmilez: kiddo?
Cryaotic: yeah. I figure you're younger than me.
CheshireSmilez: I'm 22 thank you.
Cryaotic: yeah and I'm 24. So hey kiddo.
CheshireSmilez: fine you win
Cryaotic: I know I am. So why're you up so early?
CheshireSmilez: fell asleep watching your stream
Cryaotic: I didn't know you watched us...
We carried on the conversation for a another hour before he remembered he'd been awake for 24 hours strait at that point.
Cryaotic: well I'll talk to you soon
CheshireSmilez: yeah :)
I hesitated at my keyboard for a moment
CheshireSmilez: oh and Cry....?
Cryaotic: yeah?
CheshireSmilez: you don't like...hate me right...?
Cryaotic: no. Of course not. A friend of Team Redinx is a friend of mine.
CheshireSmilez: good to know. Night Cry.
Cryaotic: night kiddo.
I closed my laptop and smiled. Mystery solved.
