Diceneo Triste.

The wind howled outside the window, and the waves of laughter in the gathering room sprang up. Dinner. The dinner with all the clients improved our links with them for supplying stocks, it was a tradition that we Tristes practised. I wiped my face with the napkin that laid next to my plate and watched the rest of the talk among themselves. I sat there with a plastered smile, as the clients were very much satisfied and pleased with this feast. Half of them in here supplied drugs and weapons to us and yet they were sitting in this very room, laughing and telling tales like they are innocent boring men who sit behind the desk all day executing work.

Well executing the work part might be right. Although certainly not innocent...But, their innocence didn't matter as most of them were even afraid to look at me in the eyes. And it's certainly something I loved watching. Horror in their eyes. Well, can't blame them either, because most of them used to watch me torture different men to death when they wronged me or my family. It wasn't a pleasant sight to see either...for me as well but that's not the point.

The door at the end of the room slowly opened revealing Ryder behind the door. Ryder is my best friend and also my sidekick, I trusted him with anything and everything. He motioned for me to come outside, still standing at the door. I got up from the edge seat and walked to the door, opening it up for him to join the rest of us.

"what's the matter, Ryder?" I asked, holding the door ajar with my left hand.

"Jordis-" Ryder began but I gestured him to halt as soon as I heard the name and turned around towards the people eating their meals.

"I will be taking your leave, have a great dinner," I said, gently and proceeded outside the room. Being respectful to the ones that deserve it is something my father always wanted me to practice.

"what about Jordis?" I enquired, returning to Ryder As we walked through the corridors.

"he is dead," Ryder said with a frown looking down the floor.

" What?" My voice asked sounding troubled. Jordis was a local club owner and he owed a lot of money to us. Almost close to 20 million dollars. He had told us he'd pay up within this week and now he is DEAD?

What the actual fuck-

"he was found dead, in his very club. with a bullet on his head" Ryder mentioned, as though he seemed very festive talking about Jordis's death.

"who did it?" I asked, sighing knowing that the money he owed me wouldn't return. Not that I am broke or anything but I love having my money back- ON time.

"The Audaz's took over his club, so- I am guessing it's them responsible for his murder as well" Ryder sighed.

"Fucking Audazs," I cursed under my breathe.

The Audaz's were another RIVAL mafia family that deals in shady businesses, just like us but they are more simple in terms of their whole assassinating people, they hardly do any sort of physical damage to the person and instead completely rely on machine guns and rifles. Unlike us, who have men peeled and tortured using knives.

It's been the 20th club they have been taking under their control. Why does it feel so targeted though?

I can't believe this is happening, All the people I loaned money to or the people that are my clients or people I hate or people that are involved in this side of the businesses are getting murdered one by one BY AUDAZS. why is IT even happening?

I brush my thoughts aside, as the limousine pulled onto the parking of a house. I walked into the huge structure, as the two doors at the entrance opened wide for me as I entered. The guards on either side greeted me, as I proceeded inwards. In the hall Sofia, my younger sister was watching TV.
