GUYS FINALLY MY SCHOOL ENDED!!!! Isn't it funny that I haven't been updating for 2 months and my school is opening in a week? Yeah. Sorry for the long wait. But, I'm trying to update more! <33

On the phone with Connor.

"Ava? come to med. we need to speak. now."

Ava was stressed. What could have happened? She was thinking about the possibilities when she went to her car.

At Chicago med

"What happened, Connor? I'm on my leave. I mean, what's so urgent?"

"Ava, my dad is not well. He was getting well but now he just feels like he never had surgery."

"Okay, what the fuck. I hope you are not blaming me for that, Connor."

'"... He is at the VIP room, ava. you should check on him because you know, you did the surgery."

Ava was sort of angry. Why would she do Cornelius's surgery badly? But for sure she went to check on Cornelius.

In Cornelius's room

"Oh, Dr. Bekker. I'd say it's nice to see you but it's not. I feel like I never had that damn surgery, my heart hurts like hell" Cornelius said.

the inner voice of ava was asking him to shut up and burn in hell but of course, she didn't say that. Instead, she said,

"Okay, Mr. Rhodes. I want you to take deep breaths, I will listen to your heart."

"Yeah, yeah do your doctor thing and just get me fixed up," Cornelius said.

"Let's get a ct. scan and prep. the O.R. just in case." Ava said to the nurse and then she left the room.

The operation was good. His vitals were stable. Uh, this was such a fucked up situation. Because of what happened the Cornelius was known to her and everyone thought she did his operation badly on purpose. Well, she could but she didn't and there was nothing positive because she didn't. She was not that sad you know. The pros of this were the possibility of Cornelious dying. But of course, there were cons that they would accuse Ava of Cornelious's death. She got an alert. Cornelious's ct was done. The nurse was paging her. She rushed through the ct. room and saw the ct. well, fuck. she fucked up. The heart was looking horrible. Whether the stitches were broken or the batch was placed wrong, she would get in trouble.

"He needs immediate surgery," ava said to the nurse.

"Dr. Bekker, since Mr. Rhodes is unconscious we need to get permission from Dr. Rhodes, his son." The nurse said.

Well, Ava was nervous 'cause Connor could get angry with her or anything. But she didn't say anything. She just left the room. She needed space to think. She was in a bad place. She went to the doctor's lounge in the E.D. and slept on the sofa for a while. Then she woke up to some kind of noise. It was Dr. Latham.

"Oh, Dr. Bekker. Didn't mean to wake you. But since you are awake, I have to tell you, Dr. Rhodes assigned me to his father's case and I'm doing the operation."

"What? Dr. Latham. I didn't do anything. I did my surgery best as possible, why did he remove me? this is nonsense."

She said but Dr. Latham went without saying anything. She wondered what Connor said to him. A few hours later, Connor came. He was looking weird. Yeah. Somehow people can look weird. Like unusual.
