His phone beeped indicating a message being delivered,
"meet me at room number 156 in Starlight Bar at 10:30 p.m., alone.— Shadow"
"Just 6 hours and 15 minutes and I finally get to meet you Shadow-man.", saying this he chuckled a bit.
10:28 p.m.
A man in his mid 30s wearing a white shirt with the first two buttons undone roughly tucked in brown trousers knocked on the door of room number 156 in Starlight Bar.
A woman in late 20s, wearing a red dress with side slit and long wavy brown hair opened the door welcoming him in."Take a sit Detective Lee"
"You...are?"
"Shadow"
"Woah! I wasn't expecting a beautiful lady."
"You can call me Nora."
"Well Nora sounds much better than Ms. Shadow. Doesn't it?"
"So what made you contact me. You're not here to arrest me, then why?"
"I need your help."
"Help? Wow! A detective taking help from a hacker. Nice. What help?"
"The death of the singer Eric Gomes. He was last seen in a meeting with his manager, the food minister, the actress Eleanor White, the bank manager of the Southern branch and Officer White from the police headquarters."
"He didn't commit suicide. The headquarters are involved."
"Yes. It was a murder and all of them are involved in this. Wait. How do you that?"
"I have my ways Mr. Lee. So you need in my help in this?"
"Yes Miss."
"Why should I help you in this?"
"You seem to be trained same as a cyber crime officer. Who knows, I might take you in my team."
"What makes you think that I'll join your team?"
"Why wouldn't you?"
"The police department, media, everyone wants me behind the bars. These scars in my body taught me not to trust anyone. And here you are alluring me to join your team. Sorry Lee. I can't help you", she stood up saying this.
"Don't you want justice for yourself?" saying this, Lee looked directly at her deep brown eyes.
Nora stopped in her tracks recalling her traumatizing past. "I can do that on my own."
"The world only knows you as a villain, not your story, what made you choose this life. For that, you need my help just like I need yours."
"How can you help me?" She said sitting on the comfy sofa.
"You need a strong power with you, someone whom you can trust. Studying all your past hackings, I can say that you're also after the police headquarters and the food minister. I can help you in that."
"And in return you want me to hack their computers and gather all the necessary information."
"And then we can chalk out the perfect plan to get their real faces out in front of the media and voila!"
"You're making these all sound so easy", she said shaking her head.
" It's easy. We just need to believe in ourselves."
"Yeah it is!"
"It's a deal then?"
"Deal!"
