₊❏❜ ⋮ ⌒ A SMALL BLUE SERUM... was tucked away safely in the pocket of Charli's pants. Before he had grabbed the serum, he had learnt that it wouldn't save the person, just slow the process of their death. That was really messing with his group's mission. He couldn't just temporarily save Newt.

So now he and everyone else had to gather and find a solution that would keep Newt alive, a solution that wasn't temporary.

"It — this — won't work. We'll fail our 'mission' if this is all we give Newt." Charli told his group, well everyone but Kohana and Liam.

The heroes, or just the group ( they still haven't came up with a cool name yet ) huddles together as Gally talked to the kinds around him.

"Maybe Ko would know what to do, she's kinda nice like that." Adi pointed out as he and everyone else quickly looked towards a crying kid. They were off topic now, not really paying much attention to the fact that Charli was stressing out.

Speaking of Charli, the eighteen year old was pacing back and forth. One hand now held the blue serum, and the other was placed on his head as he nervously played with his hair. He was muttering to himself, not in a crazy insane way, but more of a stressed that no one was paying attention and that this would go really bad if they didn't fix it, kinda way.

     "Hey... look at Charli."  Dally pointed out as she pointed towards the pacing young adult. "Think he's okay?"

     "I'm not okay!" Charli burst as he stopped moving and faced the group of people he had been sent to this world with. "This — " Charli held up the blue serum, " — this isn't a perfect ending! It'll only stall Newts death."

    "Oh no..." Zay gasped as he looked from the blue serum in Charlis' hand and then to the last of the kids leaving the room, Gally waving at them to follow.

What did they do? The followed Gally until it was time to get everyone on the bus. When it became time to get on the bus, the group ran with hopes that they would find Newt. 

      "Is that them?!" Kat called out as they ran towards some loud noises. When they got close enough, they were all able to see that Kohana, Liam and three others were literally falling from a broken window. "That's them!"

Watching from afar, once everyone had slowed down to a stop, they all wide eyed saw as everyone trained their guns on Kohana and Liam, and the other three.

"Shit. Shit. Shit." Dally cursed as she watched the guard step closer and close to the group of five in front of them.

"This is bad." Zay commented as he leaned forward slightly.

Just when everyone thought that something would go down, that leaving Gally was a very bad idea, someone dressed as a guard turned and shot the other guards.

"Plot twist." Adi said wide eyed, he wasn't going to lie and say that he believed the others were gonna die, and he was surprised to see that it was Gally who saved the others.

Charli waved ahead the closest person, and once he was done making sure that everyone would follow, he started to make their way towards Kohana and Liam.

"We've got it." Charli whispered to Kohana and Liam, flashing the blue liquid as he did so. "But it's not permanent."

"We know." Kohana nodded slightly as she looked towards the blue serum with worry. "But we know how to make it last longer, to be permanent."

"Thomas, he's a key in all this. His blood will kill the disease." Liam added as he huddled closer with his hero group.

"So we just need Thomas to help us..." Zay tapped his forehead. "We could say we need a blood transplant."

"To forward," Kat replied as they thought of what they could do. "How about we just sneak up behind him and take some blood?"

"How about you just explain that he's the cure, ask for some blood, give Newt the blue stuff to keep him alive longer, and then make a cure with Thomas's blood."

"Oh, that's smart."

"Let's go, come on!" Gally waved the group forward as the others that the heros didn't know started to run off. "Let's get out of here."

The heroes followed and they ran behind and listened to everything that they needed to hear. Like the coughs that came from Newt, or the worries 'are you okay' that came from Thomas.

They took a quick break when Newt turned another colour, coughed a bunch more, and began to get week. Newt believed he was going to die —and Gally, he was freaking out because he had given all the blue serum to a kid to keep it safe.

"Here." Charli pulled it out from his pocket and handed it to the closest one, that being Gally. "Give it to him."

               "Thank you . . . "

next chapter is the epilogue for this part! it'll include them saving thomas, getting his blood, and making sure that newt gets on the helicopter and to safety. and some fun on the beach!
