„with THEM? Y-your excellency you cant be serious-„

„enough general."

His eyes widened slightly.
Apperantly she was serious and also very determined about the decision she had just made. The look on her face tolerated not a single contradiction, yet the young man still decided to start a last desperate try to change her mind.

"B-but those guys are not to be trusted, they have taken part in countless illegal activitys a-and-"

The look in the womans gaze seemed to cut through the air as she looked down on the general. It immediately sent shivers of discomfort down his spine.

"I'm sorry your excellency"

Gorou lowered his head, avoiding her stern gaze.

"Good, you know what you have to do"

He nodded and stepped back, silently accepting his faith.

„Yes of course"

___

The general tightened the grip around the pencil as he signed the letter.
The Arataki gang.
What a shame that it had come to this point in history, where Watatsumi island, which always stood for itself with its strong and skilled army, had to resort back to coorperating with such a shady organisation.
Overall the gang hasn't typically been the first pick of her excellency Miss Sangonomiya.

She had sent Gorou and his army out weeks ago, to at least find a little something that could help in any way or form. But not a single one of his men, not even Gorou himself, could find any useful information.
When all of them had returned from their search with empty hands, Miss Sangonomiya seemed almost helpless.

This evening she had ordered the general and a few other soldiers to meet her in her mansion, where one of the newer soldiers, Kuro, ended up suggesting working together with the Arataki gang.
Gorou had never thought it would even be possible for his leader to even think about cooperating with this group of people.
But apperantly, getting her hands on this important old flute was so urgent, that Miss Sangonomiya had really agreed on asking the gang for help.

So here he was, writing a letter to the leader of the group.
Arataki Itto.
It was actually mostly this mans fault, why Gorou was so loath working with the gang, and not necessarily the illegal activities they have taken part in.

He hasn't really met the gang leader in person before, but he was told by multiple people, that Itto had big interest in his humble self.
Now, every time Gorou saw Itto in public, he desperately tried to avoid him, which had worked out pretty well so far.
The young general just had no interest in him at all, and since it was said that Itto had a very persistent personality, he preferred to not accidentally bump into him. Also Gorou was bad at flirting.

He folded the letter with a sigh, put it in the envelope he had prepared and sealed it shut with a few drops of wax.
He'd be sending out one of his soldiers to deliver it right tomorrow morning. Probably Kuro, since he had been the one to bring up this absolutely stupid idea.
The general leaned back in his chair and slowly closed his eyes. If the gang really agreed to working together with his army, Gorou would have to meet up with them... he just hoped it wouldn't go wrong...

___

Gorou has been standing in front of the nondescript little house since almost ten minutes now, asking himself if he should just turn around and leave.
The secluded location and the old building really made him want to go back to Watatsumi.

but Miss Sangonomiya

Ugh.
The general closed his eyes for a few seconds, took a deep breath and knocked on the door. For a moment, he really had high hopes, that nobody heard it and he could just leave again. But right as Gorou finished his thought, a green haired girl suddenly opened the door, grabbed his wrist and pulled him inside.
