Bella's cousins are moving in with her and Charlie after their parents die in a horrible car accident.
Bella is also in mourning.....over Edward's departure from Forks.
Bella's cousins have no sympathy.
I was having a hard time understanding everything going on, thankfully the brunette noticed my lost puppy look and said "Jane, Alec, please take our mate and her sister to my room. I'm sure that they require rest and medical attention" this draws the ravenette and the blonde's attention to the cut on my temple "Il mio tesoro, what happened" instinctively my gaze wandered over to Bella and Alice.
The blonde followed my gaze, and his face hardened. The brunette immediately ushered me and my sister out. When he placed his hand on me, bolts of electricity shot through me and I leaned towards the touch. I snapped out of my daze and confusingly asked "Wait, wait, why do we need to leave? What's going on? Is everything okay?" I feel extremely worried about the kings and being left alone with my cousin and the Cullens.
The brunette smiles and says "Everything is alright, Il mio cuore, we just have a trial to attend to and I'm sure that you're exhausted by the day's events. Please, allow yourself to relax. My brothers and I will deal with this and then we'll explain everything" he cups my cheek and I feel my face flush as I lean into his hand "Okay...if you say so..." he smiles and pecks my forehead.
The twins proceeded to escort Maddie and I to the brunette kings bedroom. Once there we're seated on the plush couches and the boy, Alec, go to fetch a man named Santiago. We sit their and observe the room while Jane stared adoringly at Maddie.

Alec returns with another male, who I assume is Santiago. Santiago has a bulky body shape with dark-colored skin, with Brazilian/Mexican facial features, and black dreadlocks that run down to his neck, though he wears it up. Like the rest of the vampires here, he has burgundy eyes.
Santiago approaches me first and bows "My queen, Alec tells me that your sister and yourself require medical attention?" I'm caught off guard by the name but answer anyway "All I have is a bump. My sister on the other hand broke her ribs and fractured her wrist a few days ago. Can you please check them?" He nods before turning to Maddie "I'm going to lift up your shirt and inspect your ribs, alright? If anything make you uncomfortable just let me know" Maddie nods.
Jane and Alec turn to face the wall to give her some decency while Santiago and I sit her up and allow him to inspect her "Your ribs are still set and place, but your wrist has been sifted, and I'm afraid I'll have to shift it back" I held Maddie and whispered sweet nothings to her as her wrist was painful reset. Santiago gave her some pain medicine before cleaning and bandaging my head.
He bowed then left.
After he left I wiped Maddie's tears away and whispered "Why don't you pick out a book?" She nodded and slowly looked around before grabbing a black book and showing it to me.
