The Banks family had recently moved into their new home located just up the road a bit from the Burrow. They were walking over to meet Cassie's old friends, the Weasley family. The girls had only met them a couple of times back in 1981 when the family had returned to England for a short moment to pay their respects to the deaths of Lily and James. "Girls, I want you all on your very best behavior. The Weasley family is a very old friend of mine. They also have Harry Potter staying with them on one of their children's friends as well I believe her name is Hermione."
Hallie was reading Witch Weekly while they walked, but the name Harry Potter brought her attention away from her magazine, "Potter? Harry Potter? The boy who lived that Harry Potter?"
Cassie gave a small laugh at her goddaughter, "Yes that Harry Potter."
She instantly closed her magazine and became more interested in this dinner they were about to be having, "This is fascinating! I have read so much about him and how he defeated you-know-who."
"Of course, you have," Peri said under her breath as they approached the burrow. Although they have of course never met Harry, Hallie like most young girls had a celebrity crush on him.
Cassie gave them both looks, "Behave," she warned her oldest daughter then knocked on the door of the Burrow.
Inside they could hear movement then a woman yelled, "Arthur! Kids! Our guests are here!" Just then the door opened, "Oh my word, Cassie look at you! You have not aged a bit!"
"Hello Molly," she smiled happily seeing her friend for the first time in thirteen years, "it is so lovely to see you again."
"I cannot believe it has been thirteen years since you left for America. My..." Molly looked at the children then laid eyes on Peri, "My heavens is this...is this Peri? Child, you were just a toddler the last I saw you."
She smiled softly at Molly giving a slight nod, "Yes ma'am."
Molly looked at her very closely seeing Snape clearly in her, although he was not the confirmed father even though it was clear he was but Cassie would never confirm this and it was not a topic she liked to discuss she avoided it, "Peri you look absolutely beautiful just like your mother."
"Thank you," Peri smiled looking at her mom who was smiling proudly back at her.
Cassie turned her head to the twins who stood next to Peri. Hallie was looking around not pleased with the way things looked in the house since their family was used to a higher class way of living with Richard being from one of the wealthiest American wizarding families. "You remember Hallie and Holly Porter, right? They were..."
Molly turned her attention to the twins taking in a breath and then letting out a small sigh. They were similar to Harry looking like their father but sharing their mother's eyes, "Ann and Patrick's children," her eyes glancing between the twins looking closely at them trying to remember which twin was which. They were technically identical twins but they were total opposites from their hair to their personalities, "now if my memory is correct you are Hallie," she looked at Hallie, who had long straight chestnut brown hair with emerald green eyes. She is also a bit tanner than her twin as well as being nearly four inches shorter measuring at five foot three inches. "You look very much like your father except those are your mother's eyes."
Hallie smiled glancing at her sister before looking back toward Molly, "I am pleased to hear I have something of his and not just his last name. I adore my eyes it is the only thing Holly and I have in common."
Cassie did not discuss Ann or Patrick often it pained her too much to discuss them, she loved her girls but losing her best friends was still painful even thirteen years later.
