Sunoo pov

I woke up from a little nap in an amazing mood. I just got told I could marry the person I would die for.

I noticed Riki wasn't in the room when I woke up but I didn't think much of it. I'm sure he had to get back to the garden it something.

So I got up to brush my hair that had gotten messy while I was sleeping.

My brush wasn't in the vanity or in my bathroom. I looked around my huge room. Then I saw it on my desk.

I went over to my desk to pick it up. Then I saw a letter with my name on it.

I picked it up and started reading.

Dear Sunoo,

Did you sleep well? You looked so cute sleeping. Your probably wondering where I am. And honestly I'm not sure. I left. And I'm not coming back. I'm sorry. I can't say I didn't have a choice because I did. It will be too much for a garden boy like me. Trust me Sunoo I want to marry you buy I can't. I hope you find a good princess to love. I had a great time being with you. I'm sorry and I love you.

                                   Dear your garden boy.

I was crying by the time I was done. How could he just ditch me. I ran to my window and looked at the huge clock in the middle of the kingdom.

It's only been an hour since I fell asleep. I still have a chance to get to him before he leaves.

I ran out of the castle and ran around the garden. He wasn't there. I ran around town and I still couldn't find him.

It started to rain and it was pretty dark. I didn't turn back and go home though. I needed to get to Riki if it killed me.

I felt tears welling up in my eyes.

How could he just leave? After we had fought so hard to get married he just leaves?

I wouldn't let my tears fall. I don't have time to get emotional. I need to find Riki.

I saw him getting in a carriage leaving the town.

"RIKI!" I yelled and he turned to look at me.

"Sunoo it's raining what are you doing out here?" He asked in a concerned tone.

"Looking for you! Why are you leaving?" I asked and he just looked own not answering.

"Huh Riki? Why? I love you. I finally get to marry you why are you running away?" I asked letting my tears fall.

"Sunoo I know that becoming king isn't new to you since your a prince and that's how you live but it's different for me. You can't be mad because I'm scared." Riki said calmly but firmly.

"You think I'm not scared? You think this whole king thing is just apart of my daily life? It's not Riki if your scared I'm petrified" I said wiping my tears. It didn't matter because I was still crying and it was still raining.

"Sunoo I'm sorry. I just can't do that. I love you and you know it. I would marry you right now" Riki said.

"You can!" I replied. "That's the thing everything is going fine. Why throw it away?"

"Sunoo I'm sorry, but I have to go" Riki said sadly looking down.

"So your giving up on us?" I asked hurt.

"We were never going to work out anyway. Do you honestly think that any of this would work. We're too different Sunoo" Riki said. His voice was raised but it wasn't a yell.

"Riki I love you!" I yelled.

"And I love you. But it's all too different" Riki said I saw his eyes tear up.

"What's different!" I asked and he walked closer to me.

"We never got to really get to know each other. We never really got to date. I never got to propose. Nothing. And now we just are getting married?" Riki asked.

I out my arms on his shoulders and pushed him down. He fell on one knee and looked at me confused.

"There. Ask me" I demanded. He smiled.

"Sunoo. Will you marry me?" He asked and I smiled.

"Yes of course" I said. He stood up and kissed me.

We didn't care that it was pouring rain.

I was just happy to get my garden boy back.
