The bells rang at midnight and I woke up gasping for breath.
I saw Dracula holding out a wedding dress and bidding me change.
With his eyes, he hypnotized me.
Quickly I changed into the wedding dress and then he carried me bridal style to the chapel.
We each drank blood from a goblet and recited our wedding vows. Just as we were about to kiss, I woke up covered in sweat.
"It's just a nightmare," I said over and over again to myself. I was, however, shocked to see a plain golden ring on my left finger.
"So, did I get married to him or to Jonathon?" I asked Dr. Van Helsing.
Dr. Van Helsing explained that for my safety, they had convinced everyone that I was married to Dracula in order to protect Jonathon and the golden ring was part of that.
Jonathon is now back in England, unaware of this until I publish my story.
I now live in a cottage near Dracula's castle when he's away, and with him in the castle.
