Sam's POV

I watch Colby walk into the Cafe. I couldn't help but find myself staring at him. He waves and I blink, realizing I've been staring at him for a good 20 seconds. As soon as he's close enough I semi-loudly say "Colby! You really need to set an alarm. We have a test tomorrow and we did some important review today!" It takes him a while to respond...He was just staring at me with his beautiful blue eyes... I felt my face get hotter by the second.

"colby?....Colby!.....COLBY!!!"

"Oh review? We have a test?! Whatever, I'll just fucking fail." He says as if that's a smart plan, He needs to use his brain. Colbys really smart.. Yet he always acts Stupid. "Colbs you can't just set for failure, I'll come over later and help you study." I offer. Hoping he complys...I just wanna be around him. "Are u sure sam? You don't have to, I know MOST of it..I think." Yes Dumass YES!!! I just wanna help you. Stop second guessing!

"Of course dude, your my best friend! I'm always willing to help you out." I reassure. "Well thanks dude. I'd be fucked without you." I think we would be fucked without each other.

Suddenly, I hear footsteps behind me. Turning to see Brennen.

"Hey Sam! and..Colby. Anyways. Sam I was hoping I could talk to you real fast?" I wasn't expecting him to talk to me? We don't talk much, not that he's a bad person or that I don't like him...its just we don't have classes together. All I know is he has a crush on me. I dread the moment he asks me out, Because I can't say no to people, so I hope that's not what this is about. "Hey! uhm...sure Brennen?"

"In privATE." Brennen says sternly.
Whats his deal..? 'Why can't we talk here' I think. Whatever.
"Oh yeah I guess. I'll be back colby."
I hope Colby doesn't mind...He looks a bit upset.

"So Sam, I wanted to ask you "slash" ( / ) tell you something!" Oh God. "Whats up Brennen? Anything bothering you? Or...?" I'm really confused.  I see Colby staring at us, he gives me a confused face and I shrug my shoulders.

"So Sam, I have liked you since last year. I know it's crazy because we don't talk OFTEN...but I was wondering if you wanted to be my boyfriend..? Maybe..Possibly?" My mind goes blank, my eyes widen. I don't even know what to say. I blurt out "YES!...yeah, sure." Oh God....I meant 'NO...NOPE...NEVER!'

"Oh! Wow I didn't expect that!"
Yeah because I didn't mean it! Ugh how did I get myself stuck in this situation?

"So- 'babe,' Wanna sit with me and my friends? I'm sure its a lot more fun than hanging with bitch attitude Colby." Excuse me? Him saying that made my blood boil. I tried to contain myself. 'Sam, chill...don't let it get to you.'
"Thanks for offering but, I DO enjoy hanging with Colby, I'll meet you after lunch." I guess he could tell he made me upset, because he caught a tone back.
"Whatever. See you after lunch." Then, he walked off. Now I'm starting to see why Colby hates Brennen so much.

I sigh. "So what did that douche want? Did he hurt you? I'll fuck him up!" I debated weather or not to tell Colby, but I did. "No I'm okay thanks dude. He just asked me out." He was trying to stay  calm, I could tell by his lip quivering and the 'tap tap tap' if his shoe.

"And what did you say? You didn't say yes.. right?" God how to I tell him..? I don't even like Brennen. I like Colby, I have forever. "Well....I kinda blurted out yes. I don't even know how I feel about Brennen. I just couldn't say no, I didn't wanna hurt him." Colby got up and just left.

He started to tear up? I don't know why that is. Maybe allergies. I'll text him later I guess..
