Mark and Ana's first sight
Ana
"Hello, I have a reservation for Mark Yelanto."
I was startled out of my daydreams by this young man in a business suit with a guitar case. He looked like a pop star. I was the lobby manager of this Holiday Inn next to an airport in San Diego. It was 8 o'clock, and a picture perfect summer sunset was outside, with tones of red, purple, orange, and pink.
"Yelanto?" I asked, just to make sure I heard it right. I didn't recognize his name. Maybe he was a rising star that I haven't seen on youtube yet.
"Yes."
I quickly typed in the name, and scrolled down the list to find his reservation. He had a suite. He must be rich.
"Beautiful sunset isn't it?" he asked.
"Yes, you are in room 307, on the 3rd floor. The elevators are right down this hallway. Breakfast is served from 6 o'clock am to 10 o'clock. Here's your key card, and I hope you enjoy your stay at Holiday Inn Express!" I replied, in one breath. Why was I blushing?
"Thanks." he said, grabbing the keys and heading towards the elevators.
I found myself staring after him. He must be a music star of some sort. He had the cool swagger of one. Plus he was really handsome and arrogant, but in a cool sort of way.

WOW!!! This hotel was amazing. I had just won a.... I forgot. But I won something! That's what the email told me at least. It said that the music company saw the songs I submitted, and thought they were pretty catchy. The producers wanted to meet up with me, so that I might become a star.
The music company also provided me with a FIRST CLASS flight to San Diego. It was the first time I've ever been on an airplane. The seats COULD TURN INTO BEDS!!! That was one of the coolest features. I also got served some water, but not just any random water. The water was Organic, Gluten-Free, Vegan, Fiji Water. I mean, how special is that?
But this hotel.... It was crazily modern. Everything was shiny and white. There were these big, white, couches in the lobby, and some fancy cooking show was playing. Even crazier, an enormous chandelier hangs from the ceiling. It was made out of millions of tiny jewels, and they all flashed a multitude of colors as the afternoon sunset hit it.
The sunset was also crazy. It shined a bazillion different colors as the sun dropped, like a ball of fire, into the ocean.
I walked into the elevator.
