Summer Buddies

This is new

The language will change from english to tagalog/filipino.

SUMMER 2012

She has long brownish hair with blonde streaks that is put into a ponytail. She has this brown eyes, perfect face, perfect skin tone, perfect body. Everything about her is perfect. She is the muse in our class
and the muse of our school. She had won so many beauty contests.

Looking at her from this view, a lot of people surrounds her chatting something about their summer plans.

But wait..

People around her are following her every movement as she walk towards me. Wait, me?

"Hey, what are your plans for the summer, Asia?"

Is she talking to me? I mean she is Reyna Dalia! The richest student in our school! The most amazing student and everyone admires her.

I look beside me but there's no one beside me and I'm leaning against a wall so no one is behind me.

"Uhm. I'm staying at home?"
Not sure of my answer cause I know that a kind of girl like wants an elaborate and more spontaneous answer with hand signs and stuffs.

"Oh. That's good! D'you want to come with me at our resthouse. My family is there. You and I could be SUMMER BUDDIES!"

Summer Buddies? The idea of that shivers me for a second but it changed into excitement.

"I would ask my parents"

"Okay, then"

I just hope my parents would agree.

"Hindi!"
That's my mom, Amy De Leon. Eto na naman tayo.

"Pero mama, 13 years old na po ako. Kaya ko na pong mag-isa. Tsaka nandun po pamilya ni Reyna. Ma, please?"

"Nako, Asia Aurora De Leon! Ilang beses ko bang uulitin sa iyo? Hindi! Hindi! Hindi!"

Okay, binuo nyo na pangalan ko. Alam ko naman sa umpisa pa lang na hindi nya ako papayagan pero fingers cross sana mapabago ko pa isip niya.

"Ganyan naman kayo lagi eh ma. Minsan na nga lang ako humiling sainyo. Isang summer lang. 2 months lang ma. Ginawa ko naman po lahat ng iniutos niyo. Please ma."

Nagbuntong hininga siya.

"Pag-uusapan namin to ng papa mo"

And there! I hurriedly hugged her. For a moment, nagkaron ako ng pag-asa.

Ayoko siyang payagan. Ayaw na ayaw pero kailangan ko siyang pagbigyan. Hindi ko alam. Kapag sumama sya dun sa Reyna Dalia na iyon sigurado akong magbabago sya, magbabago ugali nya. Iyon lang naman ikinatatakot ko.

Pero sa kabilang banda, alam kong karapatan niya pa rin ito. Tatanong ko ito kay Rony.

"Salamat, ma" at niyakap ko siya.
