LOVE AGUILAR HAS been in the spotlight for as long as she can remember. It's been nonstop spotlight and constant traveling. It used to be fun. She used to love it. While part of her still does, quitting is starting to look like a good option. She hasn't yet though, perhaps she never will. NIGHTBOUND WAS ONE of the first book series of its kind, a supernatural novel with a majority of poc and lgbt characters. It flew off the shelves, and it continued to do so for years, but never got the recognition it deserved. Not like Harry Potter or The Vampire Diaries or Twilight, in a world full of straight, white protagonists, no one wanted to put a half Mexican, lesbian witch on the big screen. Years later though, after the Nightbound series continues to outsell in its genre, HBO has picked up the rights for a show in order to finally bring it to life.
