Kara just watched as the alien detector device couldn't make up it's mind whether she was an alien or human. "I... uh... I, Ms. Luthor, I have no idea what's happening..." she said, eyes still focused on it just flickering backwards and forwards between green and red. She avoided eye contact with Lena at all costs, she wasn't ready to tell her the truth. She barely even knew the woman, and Kara highly doubted she could trust Lena with a secret as big as this was. It was basically her whole life she was hiding from everybody, except for the very small selection of people who knew. Kara only pretended to be a normal human being, working as a reporter for Catco. The blonde started sweating up, as she quickly removed her thumb from the device, watching as all colours stopped flickering. She sighed with relief, that it never actually settled entirely on one. Therefore, Lena did not know whether Kara was a human or an alien, thankfully. Though, Kara always confirmed that she was indeed a human, just like the Luthor was that she was with, even if that was not true. "Has this- ever happened before?" Kara asked Lena, hesitantly, as she looked up at the woman sitting on her desk, handing the device back to her.

Lena shook her head as a no, confused by what the two had just witnessed, as she took the device off of Kara again. "No- no, it's never happened before." She replied. "With me, it knows straight away that I'm a human, the light turns green immediately." Lena explained, pausing for a brief second afterwards. "But, with you, it's different... it clearly didn't know what to put you as..." She told her. "I think I'll just need to check it out and make sure it's working proper for in a couple of days time." She nodded. This was going to take some work for Lena to figure out what was going on, but surely she would get there with it in the end.

Kara looked down at her phone, pretending to get some sort of notification saying that she had to et back to Catco. "I have to." Kara told Lena simply, as she packed her things away and swiftly left the room. She wasn't actually needed at Catco right this second, she just needed an excuse to leave L-Corp, before Lena started to ask her questions. Kara's reporter side being a lot more shy than her Supergirl side wouldn't know how to reply to any questions that Lena would ask about the results that were appearing on the device.

Kara just went walking along the streets, to pass sometime before she ended up being need back at Catco. She was thinking that everybody thought the interview would take longer than it actually did, and that was why she was given so much time away from Catco to do it that day. Maybe if that incident never happened with the device, then it would have lasted longer. She would have also liked to get to know Lena better, to hopefully find out that she was not like her family. She was only a woman with a troubled past, someone who was trying to change the world for the better.

Only as Kara was in her thoughts, she heard her phone ringing in her bag. She reached in and got it out, seeing that her sister, Alex, was calling her. Alex knew that Kara was at her and wouldn't call her unless it was actually important. Of course, she knew she had to answer this. So, that's what she did, bringing the phone upto her ear. "Hello?" She said, as she answered the phone. "Is everything okay, Alex?" Kara questioned.

"We have a bank robbery." Alex started off. "It appears to just be around the corner from where you are." She added, since Alex had Winn track Kara's earpiece to see where she was. Kara did have a ordinary mobile phone, but the earpiece was mostly when she was Supergirl. It was easier to talk through that as she was flying. You didn't expect her to hold a phone upto her ear when she was in the air, did you? And risking crashing into one of the many buildings in National City. A lot of them were tall ones too.

"Okay, speak no more." Was all that Kara said before hanging up the phone. She dropped it into her bag again and disappeared off into a nearby alley. She took her glasses off and ripped open her shirt, to reveal her Supergirl costume. Flying off into the air, Kara had left her clothes and bag behind in the alley, which she would go back for later. She flew to the bank where the robbery was taking place. The FBI were already on their way, but knew it would be possible for them to not make it in time, so Supergirl had to swoop in and save the day once again. Kara loved being a reporter at Catco, but she loved being Supergirl more and helping people when they needed it.

Kara gently landed herself on the ground, right in front of the bank, just as two bad guys came out. Each of them with a bag over their shoulder, and a gun in hope of protecting themselves. Though, with Supergirl around, that wouldn't be too easy. Both started to shoot at her. Did they really not know that the bullets wouldn't work on her? After a bullet went straight through her cape when she first became Supergirl, Kara had Winn make her a brand new costume. It was identical to her first one, but this one happened to be bulletproof. The bullets ended up just bouncing off of her, as she walked closer to the two guys. "Has nobody even realised that bullets won't work on me yet? Kara asked confused and shook her head. She thought they would have by now, but clearly not. The guys slowly both walked backwards, and lets just say they were obviously scared.

Kara the picked the two of them up, by the collars of their shirts, making them both drop their weapons. She had decided to just keep them here until the FBI arrived. No matter how much they tried to struggle in getting out of Kara's grip, she kept them like that. It wasn't in anyway that she would hurt them with her strength, but it was enough so they couldn't get away. The FBI eventually showed up. Kara let them off and for the FBI to deal with it. They then thanked Supergirl. "It's all my pleasure." Kara said, before she lifted up and flew off into the sky again. "Mission accomplished." Kara told Alex through her earpiece, as she flew back to the alley to collect all of her belongings.
